The incessant noise of roaring vehicles seemed to cover our harmonious silence as we strolled aimlessly through the streets. Thousands of small specks of dust adhered to our clothing as our muscles gained speed. And not only those of the legs and arms to get us moving but also the tongue, which we seemed to want to exhaust by not being able to stop talking and laughing as if we were still children playing without knowing their future. With inexhaustible energy that prevented us from stopping, dancing in the stores we entered to browse and other anecdotes that I knew were approaching as the afternoon blurred to show a more opaque canvas. One that, just as I had predicted between jokes, got misty due to the streetlights suddenly gaining a dense aura, electrifying the night with their short luminous breath, without a point of comparison with the beautiful and gigantic buildings that stood between our sight and the clean, flat horizon. Their power managed to leave us breathless for a few seconds, and it is that they really looked like giants with blood made of pure light, the kind that is embedded in the pupil and seems to leave you blind.

“Is anyone hungry?" I asked hesitantly, seeing how Jimin and Taehyung were in that space where best friends find themselves in when they start having fun. I wouldn't change those seconds when I witnessed a golden friendship for nothing in the world, suddenly the two of them not disconnecting from that feeling and smiling at me like children when they saw a candy. I was right about the question. And in the company, too. Jimin's arms moved euphorically indicating victory as if he had just won the lottery while Taehyung raised his eyebrows frantically for a few fleeting seconds, ‘I should be recording this’ I thought. However, technically I already had enough material to edit so I let it be, being aware that the camera had no battery so even if I wanted to record that beautiful evening and night I could not. The only thing left for me was to turn my eyes into the lens of my camera and be able to every temporal fibre that sewed those seconds so that I could rewind as many times as I wanted and observe a part of my path next to these wonderful people. And not only these two who were the protagonists of that nightfall in Osaka but the six who are part of my heart, soul and life.

“Whoever is not hungry is a loser" said Jimin with that graceful deep voice that he knew how to do so well, making Taehyung and I start laughing non-stop, raising our hands as if we had been caught being rebels. We looked into each other's eyes to end up shaking our ribcage because of the big, deep waves of laughter. At that time there was no loser. Our stomachs began to roar like lions in the jungle looking for food, honestly not really caring at all where we went to eat as long as we were together.

As you see, we felt unstoppable. The shadows sewn to our shoes never seemed to have existed when we ran without stopping doing races in all those empty streets, Taehyung having said not too long ago that whoever arrived before in front of that jewellery store at the end of the street could choose where we ate. Consequently, whoever came last would pay for all of our meal. That was the main reason why our already tired muscles were driven by hunger and the energy of fun. Well, let's be honest here. None of us wanted to have to pay.

We knew it while, in the tunnel of the speed at which we were going, we looked at each other with a mischievous smile. Everything was going well until. . . My sight went from seeing streetlights fading due to my speed to iring every detail of the ground we stepped on. I identified faster than I expected what that meant, and it was confirmed when steps approached my position, going to the rhythm of hollow whispers, giving way to laughter that eventually impregnated over the skin of my muscles. It was impossible not to laugh when I listened to them. Evidently, I'd lost the bet because I had tripped with my own feet.

Suddenly, all the tiredness fell on me like ice slipping slowly down my body, numbing my senses, which is why I was still looking closely at the ground, finding a rare comfort there.

A few seconds after their laughter was over, I felt hands under each of my forearms. A force that seemed to come from an absolute lightness lifted my body as if it were a feather that had detached from a bird in its fleeting and determined flight cutting the night.

“Should we forgive him the punishment, Taehyung? All in all, he would have won us if he hadn't fallen" after them having helped me get up and see my pout as I couldn't bear to lose, Jimin put his hand with those precious smol fingers on his chin in a comical way, exaggerating the act of deliberating with Tae if it was worth it that I had to pay for everything. A chuckle came out of Kim's lips, and right there I knew exactly what was going to happen.

“We have been his models for more than half of his future GCF... we need a reward, don't you think, Jiminie?” the aforementioned said a short “oh, yeah" imitating my English expression. I could not help but whisper a short pardon and put a mischievous expression.

They looked at each other with a smile that gave me goosebumps but I couldn't avoid giggling, I couldn't imagine a prettier way to spend the night. Which genuinely seemed to shake the air slightly when I started to make funny moves before saying that my punishment had been instantly replaced by making a fool of myself in the middle of the street, they already knowing that for me that was not a punishment at all, I loved making everyone laugh. Whoever saw us would realize that we were total crackheads showing their true self to a totally full moon, this one looking at us with attention, still and imive. It was the best scenario ever seen by the human eye. And the best feeling locked in my heart. After all, they were my family. And they would be forever.

"Are you really gonna put that sentence in the end, Kookie? That's sweet.”
