HALCYON's debut album is entitled GLADSOME.

'Gladsome,' directly means "Having a cheerful disposition. / Filled with, marked by, or causing pleasure. / Giving or causing joy." If you have followed with my theme throughout the event, you'd know that my group radiates joy and happiness. The albums theme is a journey from being at your lowest to finally staying content.

'Hug me Tight' is a song that symbolizes loneliness and ache to be comforted. This is the beginning of the journey, where the POV is to long for acceptance. This is also HALCYON's title track.

""Spring Breeze” talks about how two lovers that were originally one gets separated, and tries to become one again. The song focuses on how Wanna One will fight against this destiny with all their power." As said by the result of a google search. This has a hidden meaning that I thought fit well with the theme.

    The two lovers are the listener and happiness. The listener used to be happy, but as they grew older, they discovered the true meanings of everything around them, started understanding what the world is really like, and ultimately loses their hope and happiness. As the album progresses, the listener re that they're fully capable of being happy even when the world isn't.

'Rollin'' is a song that talks about the writers motivation to keep going and not let others stop or control them. It's really a filler song that inspires the listener to roll with the path their life is taking them, to find their happiness.

'WHO,' by Moonbin(🕊) and Sahna of ASTRO, expresses the confusing emotions between evil that cannot be escaped and the desire for healing. This was a perfect fit for HALCYON's concept, as negative emotions are easy to conform to. The want to be positive is very much there, but with standards and such, it's hard to grasp.

There isn't much background information about NLVE's 'New Start,' but if I had to guess, I'd say its exactly how it sounds. Starting new.

    So if we base the concept off of this explanation, the listener is starting new with their emotions. They've gotten ed the dark, and the happiness is being awakened.

VICTON's 'Nostalgic Night' is explained as, "feelings of missing their former lover and whether they would still be together if they waited a little longer." Also by results from a google search. This also has a hidden meaning behind it.

    The lover is the negative feelings from before. The listener is ing how down they used to be and wonders if the feelings will come back in due time. (They don't.)

'My Flower' progresses from the writer being hesitant to accept their feelings of delight to being fully on board and feeling excited to discover this new emotion.

    It's a perfect representation of what HALCYON and their listeners are going through to get to where they want to be.

Finally, my personal all time favorite group, ATEEZ's 'Eternal Sunshine.' The lyrics discuss celebrating the times forever and together like eternal sunshine.

    The listener will finally be able to enjoy their life with happiness and joy. This is HALCYON's B-Side, as it's the outcome of the albums journey.
