The Astronaut | Song of the week 144 challenge

Hello ARA ! First of all I'm going to give what I'm going to add in this blog. Even though this is a song challenge of astronaut. I would like to analyse the lyrics by breaking down. I would also add the other songs and other sources which is going to build up my theory. The other sources might be a book or something that is related to the content which is related to BTS. And also what are the hidden messages that BTS are saying and what does this song means to Army. I'm going to interpret in a way, that my viewers could understand. My blogs maybe a little confusing. And this blog is going to be a big one.

The lyrics

Story/ History

"You and me, never ending history

Oh you became my universe

Our story, like the asteroid flowing without destination "

The song starts with You and me. There's no 3rd person here. So in the beginning of the song itself Jin is giving a message. It's between him and Army. The next line says, us army's are his universe. Universe is a biggest name you will give in a space after galaxies. Many galaxies makes universe. In the 3rd line, He says our story, this story was nothing other than BTS and Army. We both are represented as wanderers. We are travelling here and there don't know what our destination is, just like asteroids. You all know asteroid is considered to be the smallest thing in the space. Asteroid are also called as unfinished planet. So, these lines interpret BTS and army's are from nowhere and got everything.

About Jin

"I was just drifting away

All my dreams found in dark"

These lines to interpret how and asteroid don't have a planet to have a centre of gravity to pull and push or to revolve or rotate. Same goes for Jin, he doesn't have a specific place like and astronaut and he explores the never ending universe. And all his dreams are found in dark. Which also means night, loneliness or space. And it can be anything above which I mentioned.

A new beginning

"A story that will start a new,

when I'm with you , there is no one else

I get to heaven to myself, when I'm with you"

After all they both came as a asteroid, from nowhere. When BTS and Army meet there's a new story or new chapters will come and there's no any haters or other people. It's just between Army and BTS. Do you know a place where BTS and Army meets? It can be a concert or any events or medium which Army and BTS are together it was interpreted as heaven.

Jin's feeling towards Army

"I feel this way I've never felt

You and me, like an unbreakable star"

Before BTS never met Army and after meeting Army their feelings are different which the feeling that they had never felt before. He also adds another line to express his deep feelings towards Army. That we both of us are like an unbreakable star. Which also refers to the unbreakable bonds between BTS and Army.

What is Army means for Jin

"Become your dream, travelling in space

Like the milky way that illuminates in the dark road

You were shining towards me

The only light I found in dark, my way to you"

This is just a simple message he's giving that, Jin's dream is to become army's dream and to travel in the vast space together. The milky way is known as the brightest galaxy in the universe which has bright stars in the dark galaxy. The milky way or the light is represented as Army and Jin or BTS walks towards or reaching Army. The hidden messages here is that BTS's destination is none other than Army. And for Army it's BTS, just like two people who found their destiny and destination.

Hope/ meaning of BTS life

"A life, sprakle in your eyes

Heaven is coming through

And I love you"

BTS see Army as their hope. One and only hope for them. BTS finds their meaning of life in Army's eyes. Like how their journey and how BTS leads Army towards the right direction. The fulfillment of BTS in Army's success and their own success makes heaven on earth. And no matter what BTS loves Army.

However, in DNA how BTS found their destiny in each other and everythingis already planned and how they got deja vu and felt that they know it were them at first sight. In Euphoria how Jungkook describes the euphoric feeling when he met his friends(bts). And in Serendipity how Jimin describes about the happiness in sun, when he discovered even without looking for it. In singularity how Taehyung spent his days in darkness, loneliness and in pain. In Astronaut, Jin is describing how from singularity to Serendipity to Euphoria to DNA made the Astronaut for army's. Which also means, Jin spent his days in darkness and loneliness there he discovered Army by chance. He saw the army as hope and light. He felt the feeling of Euphoria when he met Army. Together they decided their destiny.

MUSIC VIDEO theory and analysis

The music video starts with Jin watching a broken spaceship with a helmet. So, Jin landed on a dessert like area. This place gives me more of an American vibes. And Jin's features in his face resembles Korean. So Jin might tried to flew from the spaceship from Korea without reaching his destination. He ended up in America. His hair style is also not in current trends in korea. And afterall, BTS Timelines were somewhere around 2027 and 2030 by now. Probably, this was a hairstyle by that time. And you all know for what helmet is used for. It's for protection for head. So with the helmet he landed safely without any injuries. His expressions kind of shows some disappointment. Like he really wanted to go to the space. In concept images, the planet aurora was shown. Probably Jin might not trying to reach aurora he's just trying to explore the milky way. I will explain about aurora in paragraphs.

In the next scene, we see Jin was in a room. Probably his bedroom. His bed room gives a home like vibe. Not too elegant or not too simple. A huge space with a bed and comfy sofas, a telescope, a study desk, a guitar given by Coldplay to Jin, and a poster shows the picture of moon and he was hanging some planets dumballs in the ceiling, there is a catcus and little plants. and some music bands poster, a poster of garden ( shown in Jimin's solo lie) and a photo of proof, a small clock on table and a CD player, radio, Yellow curtains on the window, a poster of Coldplay, books, carrying luggages, photo boxes and a lamp kind of resembles lilies, another clock? There is so much things to notice. There is also a picture of astronaut in moon(probably neil Armstrong), cloths / t-shirts on a side and a book shelf. There are too many references to HYYH Jin (the time traveller) , the things on the corner like desk with a lamp, window with curtains( this one is yellow), and 2 clocks :alarm_clock: . One might be for Jin in HYYH universe or literally their past. And there is also a way too much references for Jimin, the garden photo from lie, catcus, yellow color in Serendipity and the phases of moon, which already Jimin tattooed. The camera angles is also very intended, to show many references to their past and future. So this Jin is a fan of Coldplay and a fan of both astronomy and music. Jin might be really interested in studying about moon. And moon is Jimin in Serendipity.

Jin was solving a crossword puzzle where Jin fills up the words moon, star, astronaut, Army, cozy. The news paper also contains the news, " the planet is coming back soon" and "once more to moon". What does this mean? Which planet are they talking about. Is that the planet where Jin came from? Does Jin came from Aurora. Or is he really stucked on the most loneliest planet in the universe all the time?... Did you noticed the black boxes? I mean the braille in the crossword. The translations turns to FOR ARMY. The braille is used by blind and low vision people. Who can't see and read. Probably the girl in this video might be blind or Jin is trying to express his feelings over blind armies all over the world. Even if they can't see BTS they can hear the music. The blind armies are no exception to Stan and love BTS.

In the next scene he goes and faces the wall. There were some kids drawings that he sticked it on the wall. There is a drawing which really grabbed my attention. There was a drawing of Jin (the clothes were the clothes that he wore at the beginning of the music video while facing the spaceship. And Jin is standing on the ground with 1 blue and 3 golden fishes that are surrounding Jin. That fish might also be the reference for his song super tuna. Does super tuna is a song that has deep meanings? And the earth was back of the Jin. There's also another picture that an astronaut visits a family of three. Mom, dad and a child and there is also a rooster( is this the rooster from chicken noodles soup and does this family is Jhope's family on earth). And on the next picture It was clear that the Astronaut is Jin and a little girl holding him infront of a house. The picture was detailed with a small house a tree is next to it, and the sun shines above the house infront if it Jin and a little girl were standing. Jin got welcomed by the little girl family in Earth. And the fourth picture. It was just a photo of aurora. So the details are crystal clear that he's from Aurora. This might happened a long time ago and Jin overall got adopted to earth, while watching his surroundings and also the travel bags represents, he's ready to leave the earth when the chance came.

In the next scene, Jin was lying on the floor. The one who reads the news was Chris Martin. In the telecast, it says, "Mysterious beam of light spotted " and in the TV it shows a picture of beam coming through the cities and reaching to the sky. Just like Serendipity Jin finds the light beam through his windows. And in the first sight itself he knows it was for him, just like deja vu. He dresses himself up. He wears a black suit and take the helmet. When he is going outside there he meets a little girls who is waving at him. He puts the helmet on her and starts to run. When went Inside the city there were many signs tells him to stop. There is also many stop boards featured in this scene. While going he sees an astronaut costume. This one is also discovered by chance. He then rides a bicycle to his way to desert . There is also a scene that he teaches that little girl to ride a bicycle. He reached the place where he came at the beginning of the music video. It was the same spaceship that's emitting lights. When he see the light he went to the universe. And his universe is the time that he spent with that little girl and this little girl represents Army. Like how earth and moon. The army revolves around BTS. He find his heaven in that little girl. The spaceship left but Jin is not going there. He's going in his way towards Army. The spaceship also have an eye like structure (there's also another theory for it. If you already knows about the cube theory that I've already made. EXO might be in the spaceship. In their song don't fight the feeling. If can't those theories in this community, even I asked it from the curators. They did not gave me the permission to post it). In the very last scene he did not go in bicycle instead of it he asked for a lift in the road. A van gave him a lift. That van also resembles the van in prologue, Euphoria and yet to come. This also means he choose to stay in the earth or the bangtan world. Where BTS exists. Which also mean he's going to stay with BTS and army's.

OVERALL MESSAGE

Jin gives a direct message to BTS and Army. That he will stay with them till the very end. And will never choose any other. Even if it's better for him. So, this video only contains more symbols and a little and straight forward message..

I just studied astronomy, physics and chemistry just to make this blog. Even though I'm a commerce student. Army's help me to solve this thing. I'm lost. I don't know what happens to Jimin. If Jimin is the moon and Jin is the Astronaut who will save Jimin or will Jin ever be able to reach up to Jimin... And please comment on my theories.
