Day 1 - First Glimpse

I sit with my head against the window, Yoongi photocard clutched in my hand. Places go by in a blur, then a beautiful view of a tulip field comes into view. Butterflies float from one flower to the next, and I see pieces of BTS in each one. Delicate, like the way Jimin dances. As colorful as Hoseok, as bright as Jin’s laughter. They’re playful, like Jungkook and Taehyung, and I find solace in them the same way that I do with Yoongi’s voice. They’re beautiful, just like Namjoon’s soul. It’s this view that I realize these truly are the most beautiful moments in life, and I sink down into my seat, letting it whisk me away into our next adventure.

Day 2 - Window to Yesterday

The summer that I became an ARMY, where I had my baby ARMY phase is one that I hold dearly. I didn’t know why, but it was as if all of the pieces had finally come together, and I didn’t know just how important these boys would become to me. It started with one of their songs being shuffled through my Spotify, then I wanted to learn their names..and I was thrown deep into this borahae madness. I’d spend my days watching their interviews, variety shows, Run BTS, and finding myself falling further in love with them with every clip. I’d imagine I annoyed lots of my friends throughout my baby ARMY phase, as much as I talked about them (but I did manage to convert quite a few to this lifestyle.) I’d get so excited when I’d hear their music in public, I’d buy merch online and wear it proudly, and spend days of my summer just listening to their songs and trying to memorize their dances (though, I did it much worse than them.) Something different was in the air that summer, and it was my love growing for them!

Why: These are songs that I find to be some of the most beautiful that BTS have created, and it only felt fitting to give to Anni. They’re songs that are my favorite, that feel like a warm hug wrapped in comforting lyrics, and I think it’s perfect to give to her. :two_hearts:

Day 3 - Falling Through Time

Control Override

To try and fix the control , I came up with these ideas:

1. Use a purple heart to try and bring the borahae back to the bus

2. I’ll use my Yoongi photocard, because Yoongi’s patience is a saint and hopefully could be of use

3. I’ll use bubblegum..hopefully that’ll make some parts stick together?

4. I’ll use my chimmy plushy. He’s just a sweetheart, hopefully that’ll be exactly what we need to fix it

5. I’ll use the Proof album, specifically playing Run BTS. that song is enough to get me hyped up, hopefully it’ll do the same and get things running

Day 4 - You Never Walk Alone

Kimchi and I saw we both shared Spring Day as our favorite song, so we made a collage that expresses our love for the song and each of the boys. It was a shared effort and we followed a kind of pink/blue theme from the music video, and included our favorite song lyric from the song, which is when Taehyung sings “you know it all, you’re my best friend.” :tulip:

Who’s Next to Me?

The person I’d sit next to would be Jimin. I’d feel like he would make laugh a lot (possibly while imitating the sound of crows that we by.) We’d be snacking on cheese balls, even if he might steal them all..And I’d be able to talk to him about anything. I’d feel really comfortable having him as my seatmate.

Day 6 - Through the Fog

The version of me that’s stepping into the future is one that understands a little more than I used to, that has lost things that were important to me, but also gained a lot of things as well. I haven’t changed so much, but I have a deeper understanding to my life and what makes it special, and that’s what I’m stepping into the future with.

Quick Stop

I would love to visit the set of No More Dream. It’s what started BTS’ journey, and I would love to feel the nostalgia that comes along with it, knowing they were so young when they first started.

Day 7 - Journey Survey

It feels relieving to have made it to the end of this point, because it means that BTS are almost back and we’ve survived their enlistment period. What seemed like so long all that time ago is now coming to an end. And BTS reuniting is exciting for me. As much as I loved seeing the solo eras, and watching as each of them explored such different concepts, it’ll be a huge relief watching them all as 7 again, like a family that doesn’t need to be apart anymore. And my favorite day was day 2. It was so nostalgic looking back on my baby ARMY days, and a part of me misses it, so it was nice to see how different it is.
