I know this is my second 2019 setup but I decided this week to go back to a Nuuna s after using one for almost the entire 2018 year. I noticed myself reaching for my old bujo and being really upset I was unable to continue using it. I opted to switch now before it got too far into the year or even this month.
I got the same galaxy one as I had last year. I really love my setup so far. It’s very minimal and to the point. I even opted to remove spreads I didn’t utilize or need as much as I thought I would.
this is my 4th year bullet journaling which is crazy to think. I have moved through so many books and changed my style so much over time. I’m over the moon though with how this setup has been coming along though.
I opted to remove the year at a glance and important dates section. I really don’t use it when setting up my monthly’s or even when setting up appointments. I use my phone mostly for quick reference and my life is pretty uneventful so I’m almost always available, instead I decided to only use spreads I knew I would want.
I started with a simple quote that I wanted to use as kind of an aspiration, remind myself I am beautiful and strong. I followed with a simple cover page, I do have a post it that has my name and number that goes on the page next to it, for safety reasons i removed it for the photographs.
I included a resolutions page which I haven’t done in a long time. I really wanted this year to be the year I finally work on myself, get myself on a better and healthier path. I then included my lady log, this is simply put my period tracker...and intimacy tracker. I went insanely simple and was inspired by an artist on Pinterest for the drawing on the left. i did opt to change it and create my own leaves and background though, make it my own in a way.
I did a very simple reading log and favorite films log. I do use the films I loved spread probably the most out of all my collections. I watch a LOT of films and being able to look back and reference the great ones is super helpful. I love to share movies with others and even rewatch them so I will fill that page up probably fairly quickly this year.
I added my social media tracker, just to log all my profiles so I can see what I should spend more time on or even try to change up. I do need to spend more time on my YouTube and my resin pages again but I will get there.
The last page before it jumps right to my January setup is just another simple quote from the song “you are my sunshine”
I kept it all black and white and I do hope to keep it minimal for the year. The only spreads that will be overly decorated will be my monthly cover pages and then I’ll have my mood tracker that has color. I will be sharing my January setup soon. I’m still getting a few things finished up on it but I hope to have it complete and ready to share here by tomorrow.
Either way I’m just over joyed with my setup. I drew a lot more and went freehanded with it. I’m so much more confident with my wildflower doodles and in my own work.

I love all the doodles and lettering! :sparkling_heart:
What is the difference between the 2 journals? What is Nunna's? A dot grid or plain? I like the book idea.
Nuuna is a brand of notebook. It uses a micro dot grid and the s is the size
i really love the illustrations at the side, it gives your journal a very special vibe!
I absolutely loved using my Nuuna S, and this blog post makes me miss it! This is all gorgeous!
Thank you. I tried so hard to leave it but I couldn’t. I ended up back with it.
i could never keep an index. keep up the good work!
Thank you and I heavily debating including one. I really only use it to see how long the journal lasted. I don’t write down everything. I’ll do collections and then just the month start and end page. Nothing beyond that.

makes sense and I like your use of it, wouldn’t want to overcumber yourself.

Mhmm and if you don’t really use it then no reason to include it. I used to use leuchtturms and scribbles that matter where it came included so I tried to find a way to still make it useful. Kinda stuck after that.
