Hi journal friends, here’s my monthly spread for March.

I actually made a “master list” of my own, to determine the theme for each month but I actually lost it...typical! So I went with the theme of Anenomies.

I googled what flowers are around and bloom in spring and these are one of them :relaxed: .

To make the spread, I drew out the anenome flowers and title in pencil first. I highly recommend doing this, in case you don’t like it!

After drawing them out, I coloured in the anenomies using watercolours directly onto the Leuchtturm paper. I realised what I was doing and got a bit panicky but the paper actually held up quite well!

I originally wasn’t going to add an outline to the flowers but decided it needed something to help the shape show up on the page.

I’m really happy with this, even though it’s a lot simpler than what I normally do. I actually was hoping the pink was a bit more pastel (on the calendar page) but it turned out a bit more neon than expected. But still, I really love this spread.
