Bujo starterpack challenge

Hi guys,

Today I'm doing the #bujostarterpackchallenge. If you don't know what materials to use, or if you are just curious about my supplies, you should definitely take a look at this post.

basic supplies

•journal

The first thing is... a journal. You could try bullet journaling without it but that's gonna be hard.

"I have lined pages, is that a good bullet journal too?"

Yes, it doesn't matter if you have blanc, dotted or lined pages. I prefer dotted journal because drawing straight lines is easy but you don't see it in the end result. Also the format doesn't make sence. I like a5 format since it's big enough to write much in one spread but still small enough to take with you easily. My bujo is from a store called HEMA

pens

Now we only need something to write with. Pens. You can use a basic black or blue pen, but I would use a fineliner. A fineliner writes more smoothly then a pen. I got my fineliners from HEMA.

pencils

"You don't need pencils, you're gonna erase it anyways."

Okay, that's your choise, but you're gonna regret it. If you don't use pencils you should add tipp-ex to your essentials. Trust me, I speak from experience. You can use any pencil, you're gonna erase it. I bought mine by the action. Oh yeah, you need an eraser too.

No hate to people who don't use pencil.

you don't NEED these things but you're probably gonna use them.

markers

Markers... Sounds easy but it isn't. Which bleed through paper, which give a nice color? I don't have much experience with markers, but it also depends on the paper you are using if they bleed through it. I use stabilo and crayola supertips. I think the color of the stabilo markers is great, but they ghost a little. The crayola supertips are great. They are easy to use for calligraphy and the colors are really nice.

a ruler

I recommend using a ruler. It's way easier to draw a straight line with a ruler than without. For lines that are not so long I personally don't use a ruler.

I think that's it. Of course you can use stickers, washi tape, templates, craft paper, dried flowers, basically everything. But this is the starterpack I think.
