collab: style swap + how I got into k-pop!

❛ hello everyone! | ➀ today i will be sharing with y’all a collab i did with the amazingly talented luka! she is sooo nice and i’m rly happy i got to do this collab with her! so without further ado, let’s get into the blog! ❜ ◦ 𓂂 ˎ˗

so first, i got inspiration from luka’s posts.

here are the main things i noticed about her style & what i incorporated into my spread:

• computer-glitch type lettering

• bold calligraphy

• cool and bold pictures

• Japanese lettering

• internet aesthetic

ok, so first i wrote “style swap” at the top in the computer-glitch type font that i got inspired from by luka. underneath that, i wrote in calligraphy “how i got into k-pop”

next to the title i made a little “computer screen” that says “remind: collab with luka on BJA”

after that i just wrote out the body of the spread and cut out some cool pics from my 2020 BTS calendar that i thought went well with the color palette

my printer doesn’t work oof

and also i made another “computer screen” that just has the k-pop groups that i like & listen to!

so for the bottom, i *tried to make* made

a little watercolor thing

don’t judge me luka ik it’s bad lol

and drew a black rectangle on top of it. inside the rectangle, i wrote a Japanese word (nastukashii: bringing back happy memories of the past). i chose this word bc i am talking about my memory of how i first got into k-pop!

finally, i just added some cute stickers to make the spread more decorative!
