Hi there!
I recently posted a video on how I practice calligraphy, and in this post I'll also share how I practice!
1. Up/down strokes

[C]I recently posted a [video|https://youtu.be/KD-zGQAYqYM] on how I practice calligr](https://image.staticox.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fpm1.aminoapps.programascracks.com%2F7391%2F37cdf1d825d08de18f7f1af00166c61e104d750br1-2048-873v2_hq.jpg)
First off I do some up and down strokes to warm up my hand, and make sure I'm being light on the upstroke, and heavy on the downstroke.
*Note: The weight depends on what brush pen you use, so if you're going to make a poster, warm up your hand with the brush pen you're using first.
2. Up-down and down-up

Then I put the up/down strokes together to practice the transitions. This can help if you have a hard time when writing letters.
3. Alphabet

After warming up, I write the alphabet. There are many different ways to write all the letters in calligraphy, so just write them however you want.
So that's my calligraphy practice routine!

I'm a lefty
Can u tell me the name of the supplies and pens that u recommend pls
I use the Pigma microns and Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens
is writing in calligraphy hard? i heard it was very hard for lefties but i've never met a met someone left-handed who's done calligraphy
It is challenging at the beginning, like everything, but the pens that I use (Pigma Micron and Faber Castell) don't smear so They work great for left handers.
