This post is my entry for the
#beatquarantine challenge!
Entering on the last possible day.
Ok, I’m going to be completely
honest here: as a graduate student
who studies mostly from home
anyway, my life actually hasn’t
changed *that* much since Norway
introduced complete lock-down.
The biggest change for me was
A) no more going to cafes and the
library to study
B) no more take-out coffee (spoiled)
C) no more visiting my grandmas
out of fear I might unknowingly
infect them with covid-19
The last one is definitely the worst
for me, because I feel so bad knowing
my grandmas are just at home alone
without anyone visiting them. I call
them, of course, but it’s just not the
same as being able to grocery shop
for them, make them food, bring
them a glass of water, and hold their
hand.
So here is the spread I made in
relation to my quarantine. I made
it in my traveler’s notebook,
which I’ve used as my bujo from
November 2019 until the end of April
2019. I made a list of things to do
when the days felt really long and
uneventful, since I knew I’d be
spending a lot of time at home. I made
it in the end of March, when Norway
decided to go into lock-down.

I will probably make one that is more
focused on mental health now in May,
but I haven’t quite figured out how to
do it yet. I’m making so many spreads
for May, it must be the motivation and
excitement that comes with starting a
new journal haha!
I actually found that I don’t have any
problem finding activities to do at home
- there’s always something that can be
cleaned, or drawn, or played, or
reorganized (lol). However, my brain is
much harder to tidy up and reorganize,
but it needs a deep clean, so that’s why
I thought I should focus on that next.
