Hey guys! I’m back with my Dailys! This is my 2-3rd week of dailys! I barely see anyone post about dailys so I thought why not talk about them?

WHAT ARE DAILYS?
Well dailys are basically a rapid log of your days. If you’ve watched the original Bullet Journal video, you know that rapid logging has a few keys used in order for you to have an agenda, journal and notes in one.
Most of the time I only see people use weeklys, and they only note down their things to do in their weeklys.
So how about dailys?
As I mentioned you note anything and everything. Here’s a sample daily
:small_red_triangle: Dentist Appointment at 3pm
:white_circle: Walk dog
:white_circle: Grocery shop
:radio_button: Buy electrical tape
:heavy_minus_sign: ____ is closed till further notice.
:heavy_minus_sign: Mom decided to buy ______
:heavy_minus_sign: _____ is showing in 2019.
:heavy_minus_sign: Got myself some new ____ :)
:heavy_minus_sign: ____ forgot to buy milk today >:(
So it’s basically anything and everything.
If you’re in a meeting, you can write notes from your meeting/class. If you see something interesting online you want to take note off, you can take note of it in your daily.
Some people even put some memories within their dailys and have a specific key for it! Which I’ve decided to do when I migrate journals!
What do I put in my dailys? I put conversations I need to note (ex. My doctor told me not to eat this). Or like details people want to ask (ex. How much is___). Random details of my favorite band. And more.
Why do people prefer dailys? I can’t speak for others, but personally dailys are so much easier. And I don’t have to have a separate page for notes. I can just look at my daily and be like, “oh yesterday they forgot to update me on my status.” So basically I don’t need a brain dump because my daily is my brain dump for the day.
I also like the fact I don’t waste paper. Sorry to those who do weeklys, but I see some people have nothing on certain days of their weeklys and it makes me fhdidkskdj. That’s the reason why I can’t do agendas at all. Because I don’t want to be wasting paper.
You can also skip days. This is something I do when I have nothing going on. Like during the weekend and etc.
Doing dailys is the reason why I got to make my journal last longer than most people. My journal has been with me since 2016. Please note I consistently put up my monthly’s too. But because I skip days, I save space AND paper.
So I guess that’s it! So are you interested in Dailys yet? :new_moon_with_face:
*it sucks you guys can’t see the stickers and the silver gel pen properly fhdikdkddj but they look great irl

You are right. Dailys are helpful. I use them at work, where I really have a lot of stuff going on, not only to do, but also conversations and stuff I need to know, lots of notes. For my main BuJo, personally, I find weeklies for me have enough space for everything. Due to my being around 10hours a day at work. But I don't skip days either, so for me it works. I did try the dailys in both BuJos.
I guess in the end, we try, we learn and we use what works for each of us. :)
That’s exactly what I love about Bujo! You make it work for your lifestyle! And right? I’m glad dailys work for you! And that’s good! As long as you find what works for you! Although I personally think some people don’t know the daily option. Which I hope more people see in the future! :D
