ok so. *deep breath*

I’m really excited about the #artjournalchallenge because I love art journaling and unlike my bujo I actually manage to use it on a pretty regular basis (ish). My goal for my art journal is basically just to experiment and fill up pages no matter how good they turn out. I use a small (<Din A 5) sketchbook that was like 4 or 5£ at WHSmith because the small pages are just less intimidating to fill.

This is Willam drawn with really crappy coloured pencils (because I don’t use pencils that much and don’t really want to spend that much money on something I’ll barely use). [If you don’t know who Willam is - I’m sorry.]

This is a drawing of Aja and probably my favourite page in this journal (even though their hand kinda looks crappy but let’s let that slide *angry muttering*).

Speaking of favourites, this is a very close second. Almost dislocated some bones whilst taking a reference picture for this (aaah, the things you do if you want a nice looking drawing but are scared to fuck it up if you freehand) but I think it was worth it?

Enough with the a e s t h e t i c :tm: pages, look at this sick ass dinosaur Hedda told me to draw. Look at that face. Look at those stylish boots. Look at this “distinctive double row of kite-shaped plates rising vertically along the rounded back”(thanks Wikipedia).

These are two one-line drawings. I love doing these, they are so much fun, I’m gonna rate them 10/10 slightly squiggly but somehow artistic faces.

This is some sunflowers (and there might be a really badly person in there too). I did this with watercolours, so that might explain why it looks the way it looks (please?)

This one was inspired by Instagram art journals, however, I made this more into my style and l o v e how it turned out. I had to cut the letters out of the paper with a cutter knife so, once again, I put myself in danger for the sake of this journal. Might as well call me Indiana Journals (bad joke, I know. Sincerely apologize).

And finally, just for that one person that actually read this entire post for whatever reason, I’m gonna treat you to this gem of a picture. YES I tried to draw Pokémon just from my memory. And now they’re angerey bois (I spend too much time on the Internet).

I’m really sorry if I made you read through all of this. San made me do it.
