New Curators!

It made me so happy to see who want to take a role in the community and better it for everyone!

The applications were amazing and actually prompted something new.

Previously I had thought of taking on one or two curators... but that has changed. We will actually adding four new curators who will also have specific roles in the community, and we have an old staff member returning to us!

The reason for the larger than planned staff is to ensure there is never too much to do for any one person - we all have lives outside of amino including school, work and social commitments.

Now as applications came in I went through profiles and activity levels etc as you know and as I looked through the amazing posts these three have made my mind kept going back to the community we received repeatedly about how miss the newsletter.

And so I got them together and ran my thoughts by them and they have agreed to take on a project alongside their role of curator!

It will feature theme ideas, blog post spotlight, helpful journal tips and... well honestly who knows what else because I told them to have some fun with it :joy:

They will still hold the same responsibilities as all curators do to keep this community a safe and on topic place for people to share their journals.

Older may the introduction of this feature to our community and our ‘gallery queen’ will be taking the time to reorganise the gallery (aka ‘her baby’) for the community to showcase their amazing journal spreads!

An absolute angel, I’m sure of it! She has sat through quite a few hours on Skype with me helping to get things organised, brainstorming ideas and listening to me not make much sense!

She will be ing the staff in what we have decided to call an role - in other words she will be making sure I don’t make a huge mess of things.
