The juicy middle:
✑ Did your first spreads

The juicy middle:

✑ Did your first spreads work? Do you need to shuffle things up?

Mostly. I ended up changing my weekly spread for week 2. The boxes I had for my habit tracker were too large, so I turned it into more of a progress bar style. I also made a separate tracker for my booster, so I can better track how many of my pills I'm using. I found putting "wellness" too vague, so I switched it to stretching, since I do that before every work out, and I'm trying to develop a habit of stretching partway through long office days. My to dos and task lists worked fine, as did tracking nutrition/food, though tracking exercise was a bit repetitive since I have a Fitbit. So I swapped it out for a Successes section, to add a little positivity.

✑ Does journaling make you happy? What makes the most fun?

Getting to check off things I've done is fun. Also, I realized that rainbows make me more motivated to do things, so I gave my habit tracker rainbow colors, and now filling that out is much more fun :)

✑ Do you have a strategy on how to keep up with your Journal?

I keep my stationary things in the living room, which is where I spend a lot of my free time. Having it staring me in the face like that helps. I stick to rapid journaling for dailies so that if I don't have time to color in trackers and do spreads, I can put the info there and move it over later.

✑ Tell us about your Bullet Journaling routine.

I'm trying to develop a routine of doing it every morning and every night, as a replacement for being on my phone during that time. ing every morning when I'm groggy is hard, but I've been pretty good at using BuJo time each evening as a way to make sure I'm not staring at screens right before bed.

✑ What is your most helpful spread at the moment?

Separating To Dos is really helpful in creating work/life balance, making sure practical/adulting tasks get done, and making the list itself look shorter. I also liked my chore spread enough that I made a big one on the whiteboard in the hallway, and my housemates have been using it.

✑ Did you decide to use trackers? How do you use them?

I have habit trackers on my weekly and monthly pages. Might not use monthly ones next month, since I'm bad at ing to flip back and fill it out, and it's also a bit repetitive. I think I also need a way to indicate when I fill trackers out, because I don't always the last time I did.

✑ Which social media platforms are you using? Which do you find helpful in your Bullet Journal journey?

Just this for sharing, but I will occasionally scroll through Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration.

✑ Explain the process on how you create a spread.

I doodle it out on scratch paper, estimating how many boxes each section will take up. I'm mostly doing minimalist spreads until I get the hang of this, but I eventually want to learn how to make prettier ones.

✑ How are you dealing with mistakes?

Just go with it.
