Here I will be showing you my current setup for my bujo. My #onemonthchallenge spread and the supplies that I use will be detailed in a separate post.

*`•°~`°•`~°•`~•°`*

I have decided to use a traveler's notebook style setup with 2 inserts. The first insert is the JetPens Kanso Sasshi Tomoe River booklet (white, dot grid) for the regular sized traveler's notebook and the second insert is the Traveler's Company Free Daily Grid booklet.

I wrote the lyrics to Lovely Day by Bill Withers to remind myself to appreciate each day.

I am only showing the second half of 2020 in my year at a glance because this is still a small notebook and I don't expect to last further than the end of this year.

start of July and One Line A Day mood tracker

I am going for a minimalist style so I don't think more will be done to my monthly cover pages. The One Line A Day spread will be my choice mood tracker. I would like to thank mochibujo from YT for the inspiration.

*`•°~`°•`~°•`~•°`*

I actually made a mistake when starting this planner so in my bujo the weekly spread is before the monthly.

I may add more line art decorations around the monthly spread throughout the month but I do want to keep it simple. My habits will be tracked by a colored dot on each day corresponding to my 4 chosen habits this month.

first rolling weekly spread of July

I have decided to use the Rolling Weekly spread from Plant Based Bride on YT and I think this will also be my preferred weekly because it will eliminate the daily task migration which was a past struggle of mine.

*`•°~`°•`~°•`~•°`*

The next 2 spreads are pretty simple and meant to track the books I read as I try to get out of my reading slump and a Want/Need spread to help curb my spending and help with my budgeting.

Books to Read and Want/Need spreads

The Want/Need spread I took from Plant Based Bride as well.

Dynamic Kanban board spread

This Dynamic Kanban board spread is almost exactly the same as what Plant Based Bride showed in her video. I decided not to change it very much because this is the first time I'm using a project management spread and I don't really know what specific changes I would need to make to tailor it to my goals.

This is just a small, decorative spread I made as part of the Icebreaker Challenge.

Looks cute and functional! I also use PBB's rolling weekly for the same reason you do. Every so often I will switch up my layouts and always find I miss the weekly task list because I just can't trust myself to schedule things. Things get done when they get done, and then I only have to do a mass migration once per week instead of every day!

How do you like the Tomoe River paper? (I am a Hobonichi girl myself.)

I fell in love with Tomoe River when I bought a Hobonichi 2 years ago. I didn't use it much but I love that the paper is so smooth and thin which keeps a lower profile if I want to throw the book into a bag. I don't mind the ghosting at all either which is surprising to me because in any other circumstance I would hate it. I think it gives these journals a bit of extra character.

I totally agree about the ghosting! It's so strange because in my normal bullet journal, I had upgraded to 160 gsm paper so I could paint without bleeding (which was an issue with my first bujo). While I love the thicker paper for planning (I am one of those doodlers), I also use my bullet journal for daily long-form journaling and memory keeping. It felt strange to just write words on such thick paper, almost like I was wasting it.

Long story short, right now I am in an A5 Hobonichi Cousin companion notebook, which is blank and also has Tomoe River paper, and then I'll be moving into a Hobonichi Cousin as my daily driver for the rest of the year, while keeping the other companion notebook for collections.

(Sorry for the wordy reply lol. It's not every day I see someone else bullet journaling on Tomoe River paper. It just really made my heart happy!)

Also I love your TN cover!
