Although I am late in the game this year, and I totally fell off last year, I’m super excited to start again this year. ((As soon as my journal comes in 🙄 :sweat_smile: ))

I don't always use a ruler but it's a must for straight lines on tables. I was sat in front of my boyfriend making a yearly mood tracker and I used a ruler to make all the straight lines on the table (as it was 31 squares long I can't do a straight line that long :joy: ) but sometimes for smaller straight lines I can freehand it or if it's sketch style I don't need one of course. Nut it's handy to have for sure for making long straight lines (especially if you make large straight lines and can't free hand them) I only use a 15cm one though, fits in my travel case
