I've been sitting on this one for a while. I actually started working on it about a month ago, deciding that with new bujo covers would be a perfect time to try out my first actual monthly theme. Better be; Slytherin!
I have seen some really awesome Hogwarts inspired spreads here and thought I really wanted to try one of those. Turns out it is a lot harder than I thought...
I started with a slithering cover page in mixed media. This is why I decided to try ring bound journal; so I could mix and match different papers for different needs and move things around and that way more easily include some more art into my bujo.

Some illustrations to bring out the theme a little more.
I've always loved drawing owls.
