So now that I asked the community for advice I'm BASICALLY a master

Take everything I say with a grain of salt. I'm new of all of this & I literally just asked you guys what materials to use with weak paper

First things first, you're gonna need a journal. Doesn't have to be anything special with high-quality paper, just whatever makes you happy! & guys, Eddsworld makes me happy.

This next one is some of the bare essentials for your bujo. A pen, a pencil, an eraser, & even some paintbrushes if you're planning on painting in the book!

This one's a bit more "advanced." Now, you obviously don't need to have all of these to make a bujo, but one of these types of pens colours would be nice.

Felt tip pens (in my opinion) are pretty underrated. They don't bleed unless you layer them, & they have more pigment than you'd think! They come in a giant assortment of colours, they work good for writing things down. And they're cheap. With small tips & good colours, these work great for a bujo!

Washable markers work great. Unlike felt tip pens, you usually can get a couple layers down before the ink starts to bleed, & they come in a pretty big assortment. Some of the best markers for this are Crayola Supertips, & CraZart Timeless Creations.

Gel pens & coloured pens are good when your paper is too weak to hold markers. Personally I love gel pens! They come in tons of colours and types. Glitter, shimmer & solid colours are really pretty & work great for lettering, and colouring.

Metallic markers are gorgeous for bujo, & they don't really bleed. That's all I have to say.

Tips and Tricks For Bullet Journalling

If your marker dries, get several drops of water & drip them on the marker. This works for washable markers & especially felt tip pens. to dry it off with a towel or the marker will leave a huge stain!

Do not close the journal after using gel pens! Gel pens are very liquidy & will transfer the ink to the next page.

You can get out a piece of printer paper, cut it to your journal's size & use any material you want on it! After that you can paste it into your journal without having to suffer the consequences of using paint, & other materials that bleed.

You can put some card or paper behind the page you're painting on, so the paint doesn't get to the next pages.

Okay, this isn't really a trick, but rather an obsession. USE. STICKERRRS!!

Bullet Journal No-Nos

Do not use alcohol based markers. This includes Copics, Ohuhu, Artify, even Sharpie & many more. Check your markers before you use them!

When you bullet journal, the most important thing:

Bullet Journaling is all about self-care and being happy, so use whatever makes you happy and don't sorry if it doesn't turn out perfect. NOTHING is perfect!!

If you decide to pull an all-nighter, or not eat or use the washroom because of your bujo, it's not helping you much. This hobby is all about self-care & taking time for yourself. So do that!!

Sorry I talked (or typed) your ear off. Just wanted to help some people. But just that much of this is my opinion. Just do whatever makes you happy & this is all about self-care!!
