Did you all have a nice week? I didn't because I caught a cold and could do nothing but try to get healthy as fast as possible. It's pretty frustrating for me, because I can't do sports to balance myself. When that happens I always feel like a can't accomplish anything or fear that I return to bad habits. It's definitely very frustrating.
Back to the weekly spread. I'm continuing the wonderful rain theme, which basically proofed to be prophetic, because the last week the weather turned and we had lots of rain (which made me really happy :joy: )

My goal with the theme was to just enjoy it and freely use pictures and colors however it fitted. So I can't really title the spread. I think that for me, rain has several components:
:closed_umbrella: A rejuvenating and cleaning effect. The earth smells different after the rain and we need water to survive.
:closed_umbrella: feeling happy and alive even if something is bad, like the song "singing in the rain"
:closed_umbrella: A calming effect, i.e. rain as white noise in the background, reading a good book on a rainy day
:closed_umbrella: A ive effect, when you are down and not feeling well, rain makes you feel like the world understands.

I decided to concentrate on the last part this week. And used grey and blue as colors.

You can find all the pictures I used on my tumblr although you will probably need to search...
So next we have the weekend challenge. I'm not big on the coming out part, so I used a coded message which people, who are not informed about Asexuality, won't get. Asexuality simply doesn't exist in my or older generations, or for people who are not part of a english speaking online community (and even if they know, they don't get it). Since I take my journal to work, I kind of feel the need to protect myself.

But I'm so happy, asexuals do have pretty space colors. #lgbtqwc
And lastly I also added an adult spread :joy:

I planned to set this up for quite a while, because I want a list of ideas for food I can cook in the evening. I think it's pretty self explanatory :joy:
Till next week

Ahhh, you meant my tumblr . I collected a lot of rain pictures and I'm too lazy to search through it to find all the people to give credit, too, my tumblr is 6 years old, so I collected a lot. Sorry for misunderstanding first

no probs :-)
Beautiful spreads! At least an A has been added to LGBTAQ+ in a lot of instances! It used to just be dismissed completely. I understand your need to protect yourself, it’s not like everybody’s open minded. And in a way, it’s none of their business anyway
Awww, thank you. And yes, it's pretty bad. I've met one person who knew about asexuality, and he acted like it's a coat you put on and off, and I tried to talk about it with my best friends and they just looked at me and belittled it (like my best friends who are having gay friends and are tolerant af) so yeah, I've given up. It's enough for me to know there is a term for me and that I am not mentally ill or anyting :joy:

Ugh, people... I feel so lucky to live in a bubble of people who are super accepting. But then I go outside of my bubble and then there’s the rest of Utah...lol :joy: I hope you can find someone in your life who will be accepting and understanding!

That's what I find so crazy. I known lots of tolerant people, because I work a social job, and they still can't accept it :joy: it's weird. Maybe it's also because you are living in the US. It's prominent there, although is more tolerant, in certain , asexuality didn't reach society yet (or like the younger generations at least)
