The Maincoon and Tuxedo best of friends
This is Mika and Sherlock. Mika is the small black tuxedo cat, and Sherlock is the big maincoon cat. They are best friends well, at least that's what my mom thinks because they are always together. You rarely see the one without the other close behind.

My family took Mika up off the street. We found her living under one of our cars that didn't work anymore. At first, my mom didn't want us to feed or even take care of her, but I was a rebellious teen, and I thought I knew better than my mom. In a rare instance, I was right. I started feeding the small cat I thought was a kitten her tail was broken, and we thought she might have been run over. My mom finally caved during the beginning of the winter, and my sister and I didn't want the small kitten we named 'Nika' to freeze because her kids were attached to the cat the mother said the cat could stay.
(The best and only argument I ever won)
We took the cat to the vet, and instead of ing the cat as 'Nika', the vet heard 'Mika', and we just went with it. We didn't introduce the cat to the other cats until after she recovered from her surgery.

We were told that she wasn't a kitten. In fact, she was 2 years old when we brought her in, and they had to amputate her tail as her broken tail was because of birth defect. She was small, and we were concerned that the dog might eat her.
(THE ONE DID TRY TO EAT HER)
But after she was safe to have to cone taken off of her and we introduced her to the rest of the cats and to our surprise our mainecoon Sherlock took an instant liking to her in and instant he was her protector, friend, and voice.

She never meowed not once, and because we had two noisy mainecoon brothers and a black cat that loved to talk, the quiet tuxedo cat slightly worried us that was until we had to take her back to the vet for her shots. We got her into a crate carrier and placed her in the back seat when we started hearing squeaks and small meows. My family and I had never heard her meow, and we all were lost for words until my sister started telling Mika that everything was going to be fine. She only meowed during car rides, and so when it came time to move out and into our new house, Mika wasn't the only unhappy cat in the car.

Coming close to the present time Mika and Sherlock are still best of friends but Mika does get on Sherlock's nerves once in awhile but it doesn't stop her from cuddling up to him and he just let's her.

Hope you enjoyed the story of how my maincoon cat became friends with our tuxedo cat.
The End
