This is a pose and shading practice, I’d say I liked how Mothwing’s shading looks and Hawkfrost’s pose worked out nicely.

I'm not a pro at shading, but if you want some tips, here they are. And some people dont know some of this stuff so if they're obvious, well sorry for wasting your time. I'm not saying you need improvement I just thought if you wanted tips that I could give some that have helped me.
•Add color to the shading to fit the mood of the scene/colors of character. If it's an eerie scene/cold environment then use cold colors such as shades of blues and purples. Warmer colors should be used to create a warmer environment, you can even use red to make an evil character stand out more as evil.
•Shading can look a lot better if you know the basic anatomy of cats. Knowing this can help define things that make the character stand out {Example: ribs, thinner legs, and more jagged shapes help if the character is thin or starving. Rounded and more smooth shapes create a fatter look to the character. A combo of both might make the character look muscled if done correctly}
•Make sure there is a set lighting point. For example, if you want the light to be coming from a light source in the top left corner then most of the darker parts of shading will go on the bottom right corner of the ts and other details.
I like the way you do shading, I'm not saying it's bad in any way, I just thought you might appreciate some tips. Like I said before, I am in no way a pro at shading, I rarely even do shading anymore. I understand if you think I'm being mean or something. Okay sorry for rambling.
Any tips shared is welcomed, and I appreciate some good critique too.
