Waddup, it's everyone's favorite potato here with another tutorial!!!

This one is:

How to draw mouths

Skill level:

Beginner

So for this one, there is two types of mouths.

One of the mouth styles is a simple smile which is very easy and can be commonly be found in a lot of anime.

The second one is a open mouth kinda what you would see in a chibi drawing, it can also be found in many animes one such as Y!OI (Yuri! On Ice)

Now, TO THE TUTORIAL!

Step 1:

Make two dots as wide as you want, these will form the end of the mouth.

Step 2:

Bring the lines together but don't touch them, slowly thin out the line from your dot to create the closed mouth effect.

Step 3:

Add a slightly curved line a little below the opening you left to make it appear as a bottom lip.

Step 4:

Final step

Add pink right on that bottom lip line and add a skin tone or really any color, it's your drawing!

Mouth #2

Step 1:

Create somewhat of a wide heat shape put round out the bottom.

Step 2:

add a tongue by making a half circle inside the mouth. Add a bottom lip as instructed in the other mouth tutorial and COLOR!
