MY GOD WHAT A GAME! Let me first start off by saying congrats to Sam Montembault or Monty for short on his first career NHL win. A night after they could not catch a break from refs to defense, the cats came back out tonight and got two points led by a 5 assist night by the captain Sasha Barkov which also sets a franchise record for assists in a single game. It was also the most goals combined by a pair of defenseman, Huberdeau had three points, Daddy added a couple points, Hoffy added another goal, and Monty played out of his freaking mind. Overall great game but defense again still needs to get better. This offseason they need to get some defense if they want to contend. In other notes the Florida Panthers signed prosper Serron Noel to a three year ELC so congrats to Noel as well. That does it from me for now.
