Yes, I know we have recorded numbers, but I like to think that the players were capable of numbers we will never see nor have been able to measure!
I’ve listed four of the most infamous arguably hard shooters but feel free to comment if you have someone else.
Personally, I have to go with my fellow east coast boy MacInnis who even with a wooden stick in the modern era (he believed his accuracy suffered with a composite one) he was still breaking the 100 mph mark. But vote for yourselves!
Note: I know Bobby Hull was from an era where that kind of a thing wasn’t measured as easily, but just the aura is enough to get him a mention and I don’t doubt that his shot was a cannon.
