there is motion in stillness

something is moving where nothing sits

steady movement, tiptoes alert

but you're standing still, alone and hurt

but your heart is beating for you

keeping you alive, too

how does one's heart stop if there's motion?

a fragile object

that you haven't assumed to protect

it shattered

its glass shards after

but you can't be still

or be fragile

keeping the motion

feels like the ocean

a reoccurring calmness

in which is stillness
