There are so many good options, I'd go with World at war, bo3 if you're into zombies, IW and WW2 are both good, but Bo1 and Bo2 are both amazing as well.
I loved WW2; just finished it a few days ago from GameFly. I also liked Ghosts, Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare

I’d say bo3 or infinite warfare legacy edition(the one that comes with mwr) i say iw because on amazon it is the exact same price to buy the legacy version than mwr alone
I'd suggest WW2 if you're a multiplayer buff like me. If you enjoy high rounding in zombies spring for IW (it's cheap too) but if you're more of an Easter egg guy buy bo3 (the multiplayer is NOT worth playing now though)
