That's right! Ever since the Eternal Sugar update came out, with the expression of "eternal paradise" being on an island, EPIC the musical and Greek fans have gone quite crazy - that includes me! 🤭
So. . .other than that detail, how in the world does ancient greece, their gods, and their sense of style and way of life have relation to a cookie game? That's what I'm here to explain! In this blog, I'll be talking about their relation to the Greek gods, and even the Trojan War - which will have a mention of a very well known captain!

PT.1 ;; Eternal Sugar - who could she be?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~♡~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alright! Let's get the more. . . conspiring ones out of the way! Firstly, Eternal Sugar. See, hers is quite complex, because there are a few gods she's often related to.
Calypso,
Circe,
And Aphrodite.
Now, the backstory!
Calypso is the goddess - well, no, actually - she was a nymph! A very beautiful one. She resided on the island of Ogygia, where she had stayed for most of her life alone. Eventually, a mortal washed up on her shore, Odysseus, who was captain of 600 men. She kept him trapped on her island for seven years until she was forced to let him go- as Hermes was sent by Zeus to break the news.
Although the captiveness relates very heavily and has a perfect role in what eternal sugar cookie does, this isn't the best fit for her. Eternal Sugar cookie relates more to an actual goddess with her powers, and certainly isn't alone on her island! Although she DOES solely dépend on Hollyberry for love, she has others to turn to, unlike Calypso. So, now we have two remaining goddesses!
Calypso,
Circe,
Aphrodite.
Circe is best known as the goddess of magic and transformation! She has the ability to turn those whom she may not favor into animals, such as pigs, swines, etc. However, she is most famous for turning Odysseus's crew into swines after luring them inside with the promise of paradise and care.
She remains on an island called Aeaea, and cares for the nymphs she finds, seeing them as her daughters, treating them with the utmost care.
This is quite a big toughie for Eternal Sugar... She has her own island, and lures those in with the promise of paradise- but she definitely doesn't treat her 'nymphs' well. Those could be implied as Pavlova and Sugarfly, as behind the scenes, they cannot be together - and they crave at least some freedom. So, pretty close! We'll keep it as a candidate.
Calypso
Circe (?)
Aphrodite.
Now, here comes Aphrodite!
Aphrodite is mainly known as the goddess of love, but also is a symbol for beauty, pleasure, and fertility.
This also ties in more swell, as one of Aphrodite's children was Eros - who is implied to be Pavlova cookie... :eyes:
The only PURE relation Aphrodite can have with Eternal Sugar, is their ability to lustfully manipulate, inspire ion and or desire, and possibly manipulate the hearts of those.
Aphrodite surely has the same look as Eternal Sugar, but doesn't have anything of the such including paradise.
So. . . Which goddess fits best for Eternal Sugar?
A tie!
and, mostly on belief. Eternal Sugar has no confirmed goddess, unlike Hollyberry, so it's really up to the mind! However, if you see Pavlova as Eros, then Aphrodite is definitely the pick for you.
Thank you for hearing my theory! In the next post, I might touch on Pavlova and Sugarfly, or Hollyberry. If there's a certain cookie you wish for me to touch on, then please do share!
