So I don't know what actually happened to Burning Spice in The narrative of Cookie run Kingdom, but in my specific rp, dude gets reformed.

It all started when he came across a strange centaur girl (not a tiger centaur like Nutmeg tiger) who was telling him he couldn't go past a certain point. Being the walking disaster he is, he didn't want to listen and ended up killing her; Shortly after he gets separated from Nutmeg, tiger and transformed by the angel of guidance into a water tiger...

This is when he runs into a Tigerkin girl named Thrasha who offers to help him get home. Now looking after a small kid definitely wasn't something he was excited about but he didn't really have much of a choice seeing as Nutmeg Tiger was now hunting him thinking that he was the tiger that killed the spice Lord she served...

If this whole thing sounds familiar... It is because I basically piggybacked it off of the story of brother bear, just with few differences to make it feel unique. One of which being the fact that nutmeg tiger isn't actually chasing and hunting Burning Spice for too long, as Thrasha is able to help them properly communicate with each other. When they got back to their homeland, Burning Spice had since realized that the centaur he killed was the adoptive mother of Thrasha, and he killed her just because he didn't want to accept that he couldn't go somewhere.

So he had to not only confess that this is what happened, but he also had to take responsibility, specifically by adopting Thrasha, who, it turns out was quite the destructive little gremlin herself... Despite her blue stripes, she is a fire-elemental, and, She also forgave Burning Spice oddly quickly, and the two started to enjoy each other's company. This was only the beginning however, as before long a new character came into the picture...

Chigah, a strange moth character, who literally just entered Burning Spice's territory because she wanted to fight someone. In fact, prior to Burning Spice's appearance, Chigah was in the process of kicking the collective asses of every single one of his subordinate spice man-tigers. It's never really elaborated on exactly where she came from, but you could probably get the idea that despite Gyndea (aka Moth Bunnies) like her being known as a barbarian race, she was likely kicked out of her tribe because she couldn't stop fighting people, or in the case of children at least trying to fight them.

Of course she did end up fighting with Burning Spice, And fortunately the fight between the two was a bit more fun for her. That is to say, Burning Spice was practically a perfect match in of combat for her, but she still ends up kicking his ass. Ultimately however, she sticks around not because of him but because of Thrasha, her other half, Shedruid, are known for quite a lot of things, having somewhat plant-like biology, enjoying the feeling of people playing with their hair, and, most importantly in this particular scenario, being extremely eager to adopt any child they see and a tendency to go completely berserk when they get protective of said child.

You might know where I'm going with this considering Burning Spice does actually have a child, his son, Capsaicin, upon meeting him, Chigah couldn't care less that he was much older than the typical child that one of her kind would usually just adopt, all she cares about is the fact that Burning Spice had not been a good father and she wanted to make sure he knew that he didn't have to see himself as Burning Spice's kid, but from that moment on he was her son. Yeah she literally adopted him because Burning Spice was a terrible dad.

Of course with a personality like her's and the combination of two particular races that could be pretty scary despite certain drawbacks (Gyndea for example are usually half the height of a regular human) Chigah could be pretty damn scary, and when there were tense interactions and especially arguments between Burning Spice and Capsaicin, She did not take long to settle it by going from calm and gentle, to, yelling at them so abruptly that it terrified The both of them, although, of course Burning Spice always found that attractive.

And often in the background was Thrasha often left with Nutmeg tiger laughing hysterically at Chigah's sudden outbursts and more specifically the reactions that they caused Burning spice And Capsaicin to have.

Unlike the other beasts however, it would be a pretty long time before Chigah and Burning Spice could be considered a couple, In fact, getting to that point was the main thing that would mostly finalize his reformation, but it did happen eventually and similar to licorice they had a kid, a daughter named Arpina, the name means or at least refers to, "the rising Sun" something that becomes a bit more important later on in her life.

Of course I might elaborate a bit more on Arpina in the future, but right now this is about Burning Spice and Chigah. Part of Chigah's name Chi is most likely a reference to a type of power she has, yes, this girl uses Chi, it's probably why she was able to do so well against Burning Spice despite being likely MUCH smaller.

If you Boarphalis from a previous entry of this series, Burning Spice got the chance to meet him; him and his general group were in fact the guests that Boarphalis and his neighbors were entertaining when Helagria fell for Licorice.

Fortunately this was after Burning Spice became a lot nicer, if that wasn't the case, the two would have had a very different relationship. Not only would Boarphalis have been at odds with him, despite the fact that they live in completely different climates, but Boarphalis would have eventually killed Burning Spice for his tyranny.

Fortunately instead, the two of them are good friends, most likely enjoying the occasional sparring match, going hunting together whenever one visits the other, and, Boarphalis even helped him with ruling his territory, on top of giving him relationship advice!

The ladder of course certainly helped him win Chigah over. Currently Burning Spice intends to step down eventually with Capsaicin taking over when he's ready, Boarphalis had suggested that, taking into consideration the amount of tyranny he has committed. When the time comes to step down however, I don't think Burning Spice will be too upset, after all, he's got everything he needs in the people around him, Thrasha, Chigah, Arpina, and everyone else who helped him get this far.

Just like I did with Shadow milk, I'm going to close off with a few extra facts!

* Eventually Pandora's power did end up activating on Burning Spice, specifically, in the form of a blast wave that sent him flying into a tree knocking him out for a few hours. Whereupon some very special chaos kids induced a few nightmares that Both reminded him of how much he's changed, and showed him exactly what might have happened had he continued his path of destruction. He then had to fight the old him, which was quite the vast difference by now, and although he almost lost, the connections he made with certain people, along with Capsaicin and Nutmeg Tiger allowed him to eventually win when one of the chaos kids provided a way for them to astral-project themselves into his dream.

* Burning Spice has a cute nickname that was originally used by Thrasha, but then Chigah used it to tease him, And he eventually just got used to it. They call him "Burnie" it is of course short for Burning Spice.

* Because of the first few steps of his redemption Arc, Burning Spice still has access to his water tiger form, it can be activated basically anytime that he sits in a small pool of water or more, in that form he is often not only able to control water better than he can fire, but being in that form actually calmes him down and makes him a bit more serene.

* Thrasha often enjoys riding on Burning Spice's shoulders or Nutmeg Tiger's tiger body. In both cases, she often tends to pull their hair, but they don't seem to mind. It often extends to Capsaicin too, and considering that Thrasha also has quite a lot of confidence, and, is also emun to fire, the two of them have a wonderful Sibling relationship, often rough-housing and playing with each other in destructive albeit wholesome ways.
