The Ink

This little creature is my oc for The Magnus Archives

I just call him goop because it's easier lol

He is an avatar of The Stranger, and typically tends to make people uneasy

☆ When impersonating humans, it's skin feels like when a glob of acrylic paint starts to dry and has that leathery feeling on the outside while the inside is still wet because the outside of its appearance is just temporarily dried ink.

☆ The only thing about its appearance that it can't change is its eyes, so no matter what it does to its appearance, its irises will always be bigger than the average persons.

☆ it doesn't have its own voice, so it will put together different words from other people's sentences, forming its own sentences with a collage of other people's voices

It had to learn what humans look like, so its proportions are often off. Like one too many ts, too many or misshapen teeth, and other things that make it look uncanny

☆ It isn't typically violent or aggressive. It really enjoys smiling and waving at people and seeing how people react, which is usually by waving back or getting scared, all depending on how good its human impersonation is

☆ it has trouble distinguishing the difference between laughing and crying. It knows laughing is positive, but it likes the sound of crying, so when it laughs, it often just sounds like quiet sobbing (its just more mimicked voices that it likes)
