Explain Cryptology Challenge #ECC

NOTICE: This is an old challenge. We are bringing it back with no deadline You can enter anytime you want.

Welcome to our second challenge. In this challenge you will help the newcomers to this Amino and Cryptology as a whole. You will make informative WIKI ENTRIES (NOT blog posts) that serves as an introduction to topic you chose. The topic you pick can be about:

1-About Cryptology In General

Examples:

"What is cryptology?"

"How to encrypt/decrypt?"

"Most famous cyphers."

2-Background Information About Cryptology

Examples:

"History of cryptology"

"Important people who worked on cryptology."

3-Other Subjects That Are Related To Cryptology

Examples:

"Introduction to Coding"

"Mathematics Of Cryptology"

You don't have to stay limited to my example topics but the topic you pick has to be related to Cryptology.

We we'll judge your entries by:

1-Informational value

How well do you explain your topic.

2-Visual Appeal

How well do you decorate your entry. A wiki with little to no visual elements won't do well in here.

HOW TO

1)Use a WIKI ENTRY for your entry.

2)Include #ECC tag.

3)Please "Submit To Wiki" after you publish your entry. Otherwise I can't reward your entry. How to do this:

1)No plagiarism allowed. Credit your sources and explain with your OWN words.

2)Your topic has to be about Cryptology/Cryptography or any other related topic(see above).

3)Last day to enter: April 20.

I don't know how many people will be interested in this challenge so there won't be a definite amount of winners for this challenge. If the mod team like your entry:

2-You will also get the title "Mentor".
