ANYWAYS :yum: I'll start off with The culture and traditions of Mexico, though before I start..I'm mixed so..when I first started doing this blog I originally had something else in mind of another culture but here I am doing Mexico and I chose Mexico because recently I've had a lot of stereotypical/racist/discrimination stuff thrown at me just cause i speak spanish...

as if mexicans were the only to speak spanish🙄..

As I was saying, im not putting no culture on the line or offending anyone of any other culture. I Wasn't mad at these people who misjudged me. I was just annoyed..like seriously bro...Yes we eat tortillas and beans...get over that fact🤦🏻‍♀ I hear this everyday chill out🙄. English is my first, Spanish is my second tongue language and yes im not just "mexican", I Have other stuff too,that being said I will also talk about Spanish Spaniard culture.

Mexico is quite a beautiful country and has a lot of qualities that could actually be useful to be one of the best. ♤

if the government ofc wasnt so corrupted thanks to the president.

The whole package.

I myself who come from a Latino family..and many friends of mine in real life can approve of this too...Our families are like Rabbits...so MANY. Our families actually love being big that as soon as you become a young lady and man..the grown woman and man encourage you to "help the family out" in reproduction :sweat_smile: :joy: ..depending on your gender role..you hold a responsibility and certain role on the family.

rules and roles?

Many cultures are quite similar in roles and rules when it comes to gender,age & rules.

Depending on how your house hold is in a Mexican Family..well back in the day( even today dont be surprised) woman cleaned, cooked, bore children and took care of the housing and kids.

•Man only worked, Reproduced for their name and blood, took the decisions in the household and protected their families.

•Children growing up would be kids..but if you were a young boy, you would be taught to work and be told to make a family one day as well. Young girls would be taught what their mothers knew and eventually married off or wait for them to get asked for in marriage of choice or arranged.

My family used to accustom this stuff back in the day, nowadays...its quite even (lol).

As well, Regardless parents & elders are treated with respect. Though, responsibilities are immediate for every family member.

Religion?

Although theres not exactly a specific "only 1" religion.. 82% of Mexicans identify as Catholic. The rest are Christian Denominations that are Presbyterians, Jehovah's, 7th day Adventist, Mormons, Lutherans, Methodists, baptists & Angelicans (As well a small group community of Muslims, Jews & buddhists)

Fun fact: Families in Mexico usually revolve on religious values.

population & music?

♡Mariachi's..quite famous music type. Examples are Vicente fernandez..Christian Nodal and Julian Alvarez.

♡ 62% are mestizo's aka Amerindian-Spanish

10% are white

Language?

Spanish...

Indigenous languages?- Mayan,nahualt & other regional languages.

Traditional customs?

° Quinceñera (15th birthday) This is a party hosting tupically in a girls 15th birthday. This signifies the Girls journey from childhood to womanhood. In many families its what signifies or it could also mean That she's ready to take choices & responsibilities like the woman she's become and not as a child. This means the girl on her day has a fancy dress..songs..music..food..FAMILY& FRIENDS over that day.

Which by the way..I'll use my example when I was 15..my favorite color is green btw so would explain my dress color and since my birthday is also coming up this Saint patricks day..why not🤷🏻‍♀ throw back. #NoShame

Lastly for mexico....Food.

Yes its true..stereotypical but true..Truth be told...we eat a lot of tortillas..beans...corn..pepper..avocadoes..chocolate.......

..pumpkin and soda.

Ok so as I said im mixed. What I know from Spanish culture is because of my dad lol hes spanish.( my moms side is mexican/mestizo and Italian) p.s mybad pics wont fit.

Anyways.. Language

90% speak Castilian spanish as a first or second language

17% speak Catalan

7% speak Galician

2% speak Basque

This is basically a tribute to the ion of Jesus christ

Yes..religion has a lot to do in peoples lives and cultures apparently.

Size of family?

Over time, size of tradition spanish family has changed over time. Right now, people are living longer and having less children.

Traditionally woman in Spain were the homemakers and the Man provided.

Nowadays the work is split equally unless you live in rural areas.

Food?

2 dishes would be Tapas & Tortilla espanola

○Tapas○ can basically be Chorizo(pork I believe), Patatas bravas (potatoes)<pieces of potato fried in oil &served in tomato sauce>etc.

●Tortilla espanola● omelette made with potatoes and onion.

Music?

☆Flamenco, This is a song and dance.

It involves singing ,guitar playing, dance & handclaps.
