Lewis Howard Latimer was an inventor and draftsman best known for his contributions to the patenting of the light bulb and the telephone.
Lewis Howard Latimer was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, on September 4, 1848, to parents who had fled slavery. Latimer learned the art of mechanical drawing while working at a patent firm. Over the course of his career as a draftsman, Latimer worked closely with Thomas Edison and Alexander Graham Bell, in addition to deg his own inventions. He died in Flushing, Queens, New York, on December 11, 1928.

Jeon Jeong-guk (전정국) is also known by his stage name Jungkook (정국) or Golden Maknae (due to his exceptional number of talents). He is the youngest member of South-Korean Kpop group BTS (a.k.a Bangtan Sonyeondan/ Bulletproof Boyscouts/Beyond the Scene) He serves as the group's main vocalist, lead dancer, and sub rapper.
Jungkook attended Baek Yang Middle School and Seoul School of Performing Arts High School. He is the youngest boy in his family, with one older brother. Jungkook attended an audition called Superstar K in an attempt to pursue his dream of becoming a singer, but he was eliminated before the final elimination round. After being seeing in his audition, seven different entertainment agencies scouted him (including JYP, Cube, Big Hit Entertainment, Starship, FNC, and Woolim). Despite the numerous offers, he decided to choose Big Hit Entertainment after visiting the company and hearing RM, a trainee and future bandmate, rapping.

Kiran Desai is the daughter of Anita Desai, herself short-listed for the Booker Prize on three occasions. She was born in Chandigarh, then spent the early years of her life in Pune and Mumbai. She studied in the Cathedral and John Connon School. She left India at 14, and she and her mother then lived in England for a year, and then moved to the United States, where she studied creative writing at Bennington College, Hollins University, and Columbia University.
Her first novel, Hullabaloo in the Guava Orchard, was published in 1998 and received accolades from such notable figures as Salman Rushdie It won the Betty Trask Award, a prize given by the Society of Authors for the best new novels by citizens of the Commonwealth of Nations under the age of 35.
Her second book, The Inheritance of Loss, (2006) was widely praised by critics throughout Asia, Europe and the United States. It won the 2006 Man Booker Prize, as well as the 2006 National Book Critics Circle Fiction Award.

Eugène Rose de Beauharnais, Duke of Leuchtenberg ([ø.ʒɛn də‿bo.aʁ.nɛ]; 3 September 1781 – 21 February 1824) was the first child and only son of Alexandre de Beauharnais and Joséphine Tascher de la Pagerie, first wife of Napoleon I.
He was born in Paris, , and became the stepson and adopted child (but not the heir to the imperial throne) of Napoleon I. His biological father was executed during the revolutionary Reign of Terror. He commanded the Army of Italy and was Viceroy of Italy under his stepfather.
Historians consider him one of the ablest of Napoleon's relatives.

Very interesting. I liked the bio of the guy who patented the light bulb ! I always thought Edison invented it. 🙄 Talk about whitewashing history.
