Hey so I'm also sorry if this turns out to be wayyyy too long? It's just when I came up with one idea, questions kept rolling in and I had to explain them and then with questions came more ideas so they just kept piling up-- And I really liked her so I didn't want her to have some half-assed story :'(

I'm sorry if they seemed repetitive especially sorry to the judges too, who are forced to read it :') but I hope you guys don't mind !!

In-Depth Information

~Backstory~

Aiko as a child loved playing games like her father had and had adapted to that lifestyle very early. They lived in a small boutique store  filled with miniture arts and crafts to be sold. There's a door that leads to the back where they have a whole house looking like an apartment and even having a second floor.

Around the age of 11, she started to look more mature compared to other kids but she didn't think much of it anyway. Their parents were going bankrupt around that time and had to find a way to get quick bucks for the family. Since they weren't getting much from the sells of the boutique store with its current theme, they instead made it an undercover place where they work as prostitutes. ( Making them wear weird clothes too,, you have to pay for that thou- )

The outside says miniture crafts  but the inside is just horrible honestly. Ofc, to prevent any children/teens ( unless teenage boys are rlly desperate ) from getting in, you need to type in a code at the pad on the door and they will open for you. Kids don't seem to be interested most of the time anyway. They hand out flyers to any men who seem interested and also post them by shady alleyways and such. These flyers contain a code needed to enter the place, there is a CCTV so they could make sure they are no children there-

Sadly, since Aiko's mom can't work alone and get as much money, they forced Aiko into it and told her this was all for the sake of her and getting money to help the family out. Aiko didn't agree but then each man after another came into her room holding out a costume, proceeding to lock the door behind them.

Aiko learnt to fight off these men sometimes. These experiences were what made her so violent in the first place and she grew stronger because of this. Sadly, most of the time, they manage to overpower her in the end.

Aiko runs away from all of this by staying away from home and playing video games. She claims Sayori was the best thing that happened to her ( honestly if MC doesn't talk or interact with Aiko, She would've prolly fell in love with Sayori uhh but Sayori might be straight lol ) and started acting like her, maybe even being too cheery and excited until Sayori can get surprised. She's scared of boys in general and tried to act cool when MC arrived since Sayori was the one who brought him in. ( Reason why Aiko distants herself from MC )

Aiko is also not even allowed to choose her own clothes sometimes, she's only ever allowed to do so at school or if she's out while her parents aren't home. ( This is usually why she overdresses with all the bracelets and clips ) Her mom only allows her to wear oversized clothes outside of 'work' because they don't look 'intriguing' enough. ( That's usually why Aiko doesn't wear tights either. Because they might look too sexy )

~Normal Personality~

• Aiko is quite upbeat and happy though she can get carried away. Sometimes she has a somewhat crazy attitude and makes up random words. Hell, she's so energetic and silly she might repeat herself without realising it. Aiko brings a PSP to school even when rules say otherwise. ( She's actually smarter than Sayori too, not as much as Yuri or Monika but it is enough to be able to hide something without the teachers knowing. Out of all of them, she's prolly the most cunning thou. ) Aiko has anger issues and can get  frustrated really fast. She often uses petty insults whenever she's in a fight, ex : // watermelon turd ; you dried fish ; useless toothbrush holder // Sometimes she spells out the curse word instead of actually saying it, the DDLC will cut her off except Natsuki. Supeeer childishh

• Though Aiko may be happy and upbeat, she only acts that way whenever she's around others or on a really really good video game. Most of the time, she looks bored out of her mind by herself or with a petty video game. There are some days she'll come to school less energetic and more serious. She would prolly sit at a desk playing her PSP with a somewhat sad expression. ( She usually wears a happy expression to school since she will be hanging the whole day with Sayori or a bored one when she's with herself ) If you ask her what's wrong, she'll say without stopping her game or lifting her head to see MC's " Nothing, nothing. Wrong side of the bed this morning. Mm-hm.. yeah, nothing is wrong. " sneaking a glance at Sayori.

• When the three decide on who should be with who on the festival day, Aiko will say " I'm probably going to check on Sayori that day.. " and returns back to her PSP without another word.

• If you start to get close to Aiko, she might try to be a bit distant at first, ignoring you or running to another doki but when she already starts to warm up, she start to trust you abit more and will prolly like you like the other girls. After hanging out with either Natsuki or Yuri, Sayori will come out of the house to confront MC. After he hugs or rejects Sayori and she returns home, Aiko will leave Sayori's house not knowing what transpired. If you managed to build your trust with her,  she'll ask you if you would like to run away with her and escape from reality. She later then jokes about what she had said and leaves while playing with her PSP.

~Disorders~ (added)

• Triggers - Aiko has a trigger word, if anyone mentions the word at all, she will start to break down and beg them to stop. Yuri will say it alot prolly just to mess with her when Yuri goes insane like the time she told Natsuki off kinda. Natsuki can prolly say it accidentally and will or will not feel guilty. Aiko usually reacts by trying to hold herself together ( This is prolly an additional reason on why she has bruises bc she grips onto herself too hard ) and tearing up then running out of the room or into the closet. MC can choose to comfort her but she might get so anxious, she thinks you might grab and drag her away. ( Tonight is prolly the word )

• Borderline Personality Disorder - Aiko's depressive episodes cause her to beat herself up to bruises for hours on end. She covers them with her oversized jacket and socks. She only does this when she's upset and alone ofc. ( She doesn't show it except on one of her events where Aiko is jumping to get something from shelf and it slips off. She dismisses it as being clumsy and getting bruises easily. // lol u guys dk but I based this off of the fact that I can get bruises from ppl simply pinching me so yh- // ) She will become more agitated and furious more easily, and at one point, when Monika talks abt the festival and how she should be with MC, Aiko starts to lift Monika in the air choking her for taking MC away. ( She doesn't talk about this in Act I because she still had Sayori at the time ) She lets go of her immediately, starts apologizing profusely and begs to remain in the literature club. She'll also tell you that she doesn't understand why how she feels is difficult to control.

~Act Two Personality~

At the start, she will be just the same as before. After a few days, she'll come up to MC asking him if something feels missing. She starts to feel lonelier and starts becoming less sane because she feels like she has no one to talk to.

• Aiko is even more intense and angry. When she loses in a game, she'll throw the PSP across the room instead of a sighing defeat. She will become more violent and can beat you up. Aiko is quite strong despite her looks ( As I said, she was strong enough to carry Monika by the collar in the air )

• Aiko at one point will have a dissing duel with Yuri and Natsuki until Monika has to take MC outside. ( Lotsa no-nos ) The two will hear a loud thudding noise once they've cooled down in which Natsuki runs out the class while Yuri is left inside , Aiko has moved into the closet where she took her anger out of everything there and messed it up. They'll find her sitting in the corner of the messy closet, playing ( smashing the buttons ) her PSP with a flushed face and tears in her eyes.

( In the closet, not a CGI. Just to know what it looks like exactly. )

• Aiko will ask you the same question as she did in act 1, just more vulgar and intensely. ( Still dependant on if you take her route. This will be before the weekend ofc, ) She will tell you to just follow her and wouldn't give you a choice to object otherwise then Aiko will force him into her house. She will bring him to the balcony and show him the view for a while. After that, she will clasp his hands together and says " Now, it's time to do what we promised. We won't have to stay here on this treacherous hell anymore. Come here and let's go to paradise. " As she stands on the edge, you have an option to say yes or no. Ofc, Monika still exists so the moment you choose either options, the game will glitch out and both of you will be back in front of your house where Aiko looks at you with a straight face. She walks away roboticly without another word.

~Act Two Ending~

She will die from overdose.

After the Yuri weekend, Aiko will be the first girl to walk in and see Yuri. At first, she will freak out and question MC about what happened. ( MC won't answer. ) After a while, Aiko starts to gag and as soon as she barfs, Natsuki and Monika will enter the room and witness it. Aiko will lie hands to her stomach with her mouth foaming as her breathing gets slower, mumbling her last words. She took the excessive amount of drugs in the morning after her mother had told her about another 'night' job. ( she was already ready to go to school at that time but she was in her room. ) She couldn't handle another one of those and took every one of her pills expecting the overdose to act up immediately. A few moments after it didn't, she sighed and left for school. ( She was wobbling on the way but still kept going to reach school. )

~Second Day Scene~

MC goes up to her and warms up to her while she's playing her PSP at a desk. Talk about your favourite video games and anime probably!! MC will also try to beat her highscore but utterly fail.

~Third Day Scene~

Aiko wants to help Sayori find the things she needs. ( Basically if you lean more to Sayori, you'll look for it with her but if with Aiko, Sayori will be busy with Monika. ) Unlike Sayori, Aiko tries to reach something at the top of the shelf but her blazer slips off. MC interrogates her about the bruises and after she gets progressively anxious, she'll go home early blushing as red as a beet.

~Weekend Scene~

She doesn't have one since she's hanging out with Sayori. ( Act II, she will either no appear at all, or come out from where she was stalking you. ) But will have a scene on her balcony as mentioned earlier.

~Poetry Style~

probably in a very weird style, using geek phrases and stuff. ( Game over, Level up, etc ) It's prolly a combination of Natsuki's and Sayori's but more geeky I think.

~The Player~

This depends entirely on the player but she starts off distant and will stay that way unless MC takes action. If you come to talk to her, She'll talk to you for the sake of Sayori at first but will start to grow more comfortable if you continue to develop your relationship with her.

~Monika~

Aiko has a love/hate relationship with Monika. She likes hanging out with all of them but sometimes she can get slightly annoyed by Monika as a leader. She doesn't confront her about anything suspicious ofc, Aiko is not exactly self-aware. Its no biggie thou, she feels awkward if she was around Monika alone but is her normal self around the others. She wants to make a good impression and doesn't show how annoyed she is, even if Monika sometimes ignores her achievements. They're not exactly friends but acquaintances.

~Yuri~

Aiko is kinda intimidated by Yuri in general but can still act as her normal cheery self around her. Often times, she refrains from giving Yuri her poems saying that " Poems don't matter as long as we're confident in them !!" And stuffing it into her bag once it's Yuri's or Monika's turn. She feels that it might be rude sometimes thou so she also asks for advice on poems despite not showing her own to Yuri. Yuri gladly teaches her and doesn't exactly get offended but the theme of her dark poems are a drastic difference from Aiko's. They're not exactly that much of friends either? But Aiko really looks up to Yuri. Not sure about Yuri to Aiko thou.

~Natsuki~

Aiko likes being childish around Natsuki and makes super 'kawaii desu ne' sounds. Natsuki sometimes reluctantly hangs out with her but appreciates the miniature figures she makes. ( She made a cupcake figure for Natsuki who was estatic to see it ) They sometimes talk about games and manga. Natsuki is sorta happy with her presence but doesn't like the kawaii act Aiko does around her. Theyre pretty much friends, Aiko usually tries to get Natsuki to make a cupcake out of the recipe she brings that she got from the net. Natsuki may or may not do it sometimes saying, " And you call me a child when you don't know how to handle an oven. "

~Sayori~

Sayori is the closest person to her as they are classmates. She spends most of her time with sayori more than anything. She also bugs her to play multiplayer games whenever they can go to the arcade and Sayori always tags along no matter how busy. These two are best friends but Aiko doesn't like when sayori doesn't vent to her and will ignore her until she tells her what's wrong. Aiko wants to be of some help to Sayori but when sayori doesn't want to talk, she feels betrayed. Given she cares about Sayori very much, she wishes Sayori does the same back to her ( in which Sayori does ) but Aiko feels as if Sayori might not like her as much and can sometimes go a whole day of school ignoring her.

~Club~ (added coz why not)

Aiko has a neutral feeling about the club. She's not exactly into literature and was also dragged in by Sayori. She makes poems for fun and plays along with the club once in awhile. She also feels somewhat safe around the presence of the club or just many people unless they are all boys. She'll also feel uncomfortable if the amount of boys exceed the number of girls in the room.
