Good time to you. This post comes after the end of my first event. It was a complete flop, and since only one person participated, and they do not mind, there will be no post about the results.
I, however, have a few things to say when seeing how the event went.
It has been some time since the last event ended. And, since I was put in charge of the Event team, I thought that making events was a good thing. That people from the community wanted. And, the people who wanted to participate seemed to have that interest.
Sidenote: I get it that life comes first and foremost. I don't want anyone taking any blame on themselves or being embarrassed about their part or no part in the event.
But, after a month of time, with only two art pieces from one person... I thought about it. I hoped that if we just pushed the event hard enough with broadcasts and other things, it would be like this:

But, I was wrong. It just didn't result in anything. And so, after the event is ended, I just want to say
I'm sorry
I'm sorry to Sen, our agent, who agreed to let me lead the event team, and I seem to have failed him.
I'm sorry to Shady, the person who, despite not being in the Edit Comittee, dropped the most baller edit in the span of a day. It deserved a better event and a better person to use it.
I'm sorry to drawings for a competition that didn't even lift off the ground.
And lastly, I'm sorry to all of you. I know that the community is not as active as it used to be. And, with enough events and work, I hope it will be more active again. But, the events need to be good, and this one didn't seem to hit the mark. I'll do better next time.

Seeing stuff flop in this community is always sad, especially when I when I considered this the biggest community I contributed to like a couple of years ago :sob: :sob: I don't think it was anyones fault though, esp not yours, amino is just getting weaker and weaker,,

I love this community and seeing art i just don't do the events because I don't draw fast enough to be in the event
Don't worry it's all good. But I do have a question. Will there be one more event before the end of the year?
Yes, there will be multiple. There should be one beginning with every month. It will be much different from this art fight, though.
