Introduction
This is my new conlang for a fantasy novel I'm developing. In this fantasy novel there's going to be a desert and in this desert. In the desert will be a civilization of humans called the lu. This is the language they speak.

Writing system type
My friend made the script of this language which is heavily inspired by Arabic if not ripped straight from it. It's an abugida similar to Hindi. This is different from normal Arabic which is an abjad.
What is an abugida?
An abugida is a writing system where vowels are not letters but extra marks on consonants. I use this because an abjad is insanely difficult to make and use because abjads don't show vowels at all.
Here is the writing system

Here's the sounds that are not in English.
g is a like a k but held longer or like the ch in Scottish word loch.
r is like a trilled r in Spanish but a lot faster or like the r in Japanese.
v is like a normal V but use your lips instead of your teeth.
i it makes a long i sound
