"Honestly, why did you think-did you think this was a good idea?"

Jared is sitting on the edge of the tub with only his black binder on, the sink a couple of feet away stained with hair dye. He was frowning as he stared at the ruined counter.

"I think the answer is obvious," he says, glancing up at the man standing in the doorway. Evan raises an eyebrow. Jared shrugs and looks back down at his phone as a timer goes off. "That's my cue."

He reaches over for a towel, using his other hand to uncover his head. The towel immediately replaces the plastic.

"At least try not-no-not to stain the sink," Evan advises. Jared hums as he continues to towel his hair. "And the towel while you're at-at it."

Jared snorts, but eventually agrees. After a monent, he removes the towel and throws it into the laundry basket that was next to the door. He stands up and glances in the mirror, running a hand through his now pink hair.

"It looks nice," Evan says, a small smile on his face.

"You think so?" He runs his hand through his hair again, watching as it bounces back. Evan hums in confirmation. Then a thought pops in his head, and he glances at his boyfriend. "Would you, perhaps-"

"I'm going to cut you off-cut you off right there."

Jared instantly pouts. "You don't even know what I was going to say!" Evan snorts.

"I'm not dyeing my hair pink, J." Jared smirks.

"Who said anything about pink?" Evan's expression morphs into one of suspicion, and the shit-eating grin on Jared's, stays in place.

Evan lets out a sigh, knowing he was probably going to regret this later. "You know what? Let's-let's do it."

"Yes!"
