toriel dark world design

hi yall

i wanted to have this done last sunday, but if theres anything you can expect from me, its that im slow lol

so, after an extra week, here is my design for a dark world toriel!

it took me so long to come up with this design, especially the colors. i knew from my very first sketch the basic color palette i wanted, but i kept struggling and then at one point i almost went with a different color scheme, but i ended up going back to the original (mostly).

i knew i wanted her to be a wizard of sorts, so thats why she has the big hat and long flowy dress. i also gave her an apron sort of thing since she bakes, a hat with a ball end similar to her night cap, but ill it things like her bow or her little sleeves under her dress (kinda hard to see) are just cause i like them ^^

i really struggled with coming up with her weapon. i didnt know if i should choose something more magical and wizard like, or something more along the lines of her baking, like some cooking utensil. i thought about for awhile, and i eventually came up with the idea of a book! i imagine it works in a way where each new book/weapon she gets is a different one, which gives her a different spell.

so maybe she starts with a cook book, and it gives her a healing spell, but maybe then she can get a bedtime story book which would give her a spell to induce tired. stuff like that, yknow? and for just normal attack its funny to imagine her smacking enemies with a book lol

i plan on making a part 2 to this, with sprites, but it took me so long just to get this done that i thought i should post this now :P
