1. What would you like to be called and what are your preferred pronouns?

I go by any pronouns and I would like to be called Kai.

2. How old are you? (An age grouping is fine too. As you know, Amino does have an age rating. We will not remove you from the amino if you don't meet this age, but we cannot give you a curator job.)

I am 18 years old.

3. In your opinion, what do you think the job of a curator is?

The job a curator is to regulate and moderate the community, ensuring its safety and soundness. It is to assist the leaders whenever they are not online and protect the Amino from anyone who refuses to follow the guidelines and puts other people in danger. Aka monitoring chats, helping people out whenever they are harassed or bullied by another member and de-escalating situations.

4. We require curators to be active for 250–300 minutes weekly. How do you normally fill up such time in this community? Please provide a screenshot of your activity.

My time would usually be used within the backrooms of the community, AKA group chats, but I will also be active in many other chats, mostly the role-play ones or monitoring “ Tanjiros Place “ and other chats i have become an active co host in.

5. Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in an amino community? If yes, please provide a link to your profile on said amino.

I do not.

6. As a member of staff, you're going to be subjected to seeing a lot of major spoilers and explicit/graphic content. Are you aware and okay with this?

I am fully aware and accepting of it.

7. Why do you want to become a Curator? What could you bring to the community that it's currently lacking or how can you add to what's already implemented here?

After being in this community for a long time and dealing with the younger children at my job, I’ve come to realize that a job monitoring many people can be overwhelming if there is not enough people to handle the situation, I believe that I can bring activity and strictness to the community, due to a bit of inactivity, there have been many chats and people who are not following the guidelines and get away with things simply because there is not enough activity, or that people are busy. And I would love to bring the strictness and activity to the community.

9. You take down a post that contains uncredited art and message the member, addressing the issue. The member asks for your help to find the artist. After searching for a while you are unable to find the original artist. What do you tell the ?

I would explain to the that they should not use any art that cannot be credited or tracked, and that if it is their art for them to provide evidence of it, if it is another artists art, provide the necessary credit that can ACTUALLY be used. Aswell as inform them that if they cannot do so, their posts will continue to be taken down.

10. A is rapidly posting content that violates the guidelines. No other staff member is currently online to deal with the situation. What actions do you take?

I would hide the s and take measures to report them to a leader, I would inform all of the other Curators of the situation and ensure that their content is not seen or able to get out to the other of the community.

11. A sends you a dm claiming that another has been doing a smut rp with them. They send you a series of screenshots where both s are going along with the rp. The claims that "they were just going along with the harasser to expose them" What do you do?

I would explain to the that it is not right to actively put yourself in a situation that makes you uncomfortable for the sake of a report, direct them to leave the chat and do not talk to them again, and suggest blocking the person. I would keep an eye on the they are reporting in case anymore reports show up. If things prove to be unfruitful I would consult a fellow leader about it.
