My Curator Application

Here is my application! I did my best to answer them thoroughly!

1. What would you like to be called and what are your preferred pronouns?

Hello! My name is C.ORE ! My pronouns are she/they

2. How old are you? (An age grouping is fine too. As you know, Amino does have an age rating. We will not remove you from the amino if you don't meet this age, but we cannot give you a curator job.)

I’m 17 1/2. Birthday is in two months :)

3. In your opinion, what do you think the job of a curator is?

In my opinion, the job of a curator is to keep everything in check. Organized and well. Looking for who’s causing trouble and trying their best to keep everyone safe. Preventing trouble. It’s a person who is the second responsible of the amino compared to the leader (when the leader is the most responsible).

4. We require curators to be active for 250–300 minutes weekly. How do you normally fill up such time in this community? Please provide a screenshot of your activity.

I usually go around and observe other’s art posts, original characters, some poles, and answer some chats!

5. Do you have any previous experience as a staff member in an amino community? If yes, please provide a link to your profile on said amino

Nope! I have not. So therefore I cannot provide a link. But I would love to experience something new!

6. As a member of staff, you're going to be subjected to seeing a lot of major spoilers. Do you read the manga or watch the anime and are you open to spoilers?

Yep! I have read the whole entire manga series, seen the mugen train movie, and watched the show!

7. Why do you want to become a Curator? What could you bring to the community that it’s currently lacking or how can you add to what’s already implemented here?

The reason why I want to become curator is because I want to be there for others in need. I want to help out in the community and bring more events! Contests! More! Make people participate and feel part of something :blush:

8. What is your timezone?

My time zone is EST (UTC - 05:00)

9. You take down a post that contains uncredited art and message the member, addressing the issue. The member asks for your help to find the artist. After searching for a while you are unable to find the original artist. What do you tell the ?

I’d tell them to still try and find the artists by all means. Though if there’s no sign of the original artist, I wouldn’t allow the fellow member to take full on fledged credit. I’d rather for them to say, “credits to the original artist” instead.

10. A is rapidly posting content that violates the guidelines. No other staff member is currently online to deal with the situation. What actions do you take?

I’d politely ask them to take them down. If not then I’d give them a strike. By the time I check in and see that they haven’t taken it down, then I’d ban them. It really depends on how the situation goes.

11. A sends you a dm claiming that another has been doing a smut rp with them. They send you a series of screenshots where both s are going along with the rp. The claims that "they were just going along with the harasser to expose them" What do you do?

I’d remind them that they’ve both have been engaged with the role play. Both had been in the flow with it. The guidelines also state that there are not smut role plays allowed. So I’m that case, I’d give them a strike. Or however the problem is taken care of.
