Opinions On Recast BJDs?

A question for my fellow BJD collectors, what do you think about recasts? Recasts are a topic of HUGE debate in the BJD community. I wanna know what you guys on Amino think.

Personally, I was considering buying recasts second-hand only so as to have a cheaper option and to keep them from just being tossed out.
