So, For a future project, I need 2 motors for one plane. Can I connect 2 Escs with a Y cable? That would mean having 1 battery for each ESC And Them Both being connected to the same channel. I do not want differential thrust.

So. Technically yes. You can. However. The chances of you getting 2 motor/esc/prop combos that are the exact same is pretty slim. So. You're likely to get some pull to one side or the other.
So what’s a better way of doing it, so that the thrust is equal on both sides?

I've never done it, but I dont see why you wouldnt be able too.
