Hey Everyone, it’s your favorite underdog plot armor duelist….uhhh…me I hope lol. Coming at you with another synchron build. I’ve been working on the balance of consistency and power for this deck and took me a good dozen duels and to really think what it needed.

Thoughts:
Reason why I’m running 2 tuning instead of 3 because I’ve had a hard time trying to figure out what to cut in this build as everything is pretty important and tuning just came to mind. It’s a very useful searcher but there’s a point where consistency is good enough and could leave room for other tools like disruption.
Leaning more into disruption gave me another idea on how to play this deck. Shooting Star’s effect protects my cards from card destruction opt and there are other forms of removal that are common such as bounce or banish so many believe it’s not that useful. Then Mst came to mind and how everyone plays that (almost everyone and isn’t that the point?). I can use Shooting Star to protect my backrow.
The mentioned play counters a couple popular strategies like the harpies hunting ground so I can actually use backrow or the clock tower where they might try to pop it with mst.
I’m sure there’s going to be comments about this play getting baited or I’m supposed to use formula’s effect to summon Shooting Star or perhaps I’m missing out on forcing out one of their cards. Personally, I haven’t really come across my shooting star getting baited in this way and quick plays like book of moon could affect my materials outside the main phase anyways. The most common situation for me is just getting my backrow blasted and then activating formula at an awkward time. Of course there are situations where keeping formula and stardust on board will be better but that’s more of a matchup thing like against Thunder Dragons or something.
I’ve been testing out a lot in ranked and some point battles. I’m really liking its performance as it’s more of what I’m looking for in strong boards. I’d run book but I don’t have it. I’m still working on getting more mst (I updated it so I have 2 mst now)
Thanks for reading all that. See you guys whenever and wherever I suppose 🙂 :hand: .

I still play no back rows in this deck. Maybe only 1 CC instead of trunade.

Live by the rng, die by the Rng.
Seriously though, it can happen sometimes. There are times where I do risk it and when I don’t although usually I take my chances with at least 5 tuners in 13 cards remaining.

It do be like that sometimes

typically for me, I usually get 2 tuners in most circumstances.
I feel more mst would work better over the two cosmic but other than that solid build
Yeah, I got a 2nd mst and working on a 3rd copy.
