Way of Aura
The physical form can only do so much with normal training methods, but the internal energy able to be harnessed from ones own body, mind, and soul are essentially limitless. Way of Aura monks devote themselves in different methods of wielding their Ki than that of most monks, as Way of Aura monks are more focused on the art of mastering ones Ki through collecting the energy within oneself and finding ways to manifest it within the material world rather than the mastery of one’s body through the internalizing of said Ki.
Force Palm
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your physical body has now been infused with an exceptionally high concentration of aura through your training, allowing you to concentrate aura into more precise strikes. As an action, you can spend 1 Ki point to make a melee attack with a range of 10 ft using your Wisdom modifier. On a hit, the enemy takes 1d6 + Wisdom modifier force damage. The damage increases by 1d6 when you reach 5th level (2d6), 7th level (3d6), 9th level (4d6), 11th level (5d6) and 13th level (6d6). Additionally, a creature must make a Strength check against your save DC or be knocked prone and pushed back 5ft.
Aura Sight/Aura Sense
Starting at 3rd level, your inner mystical power creates an aura emanating from you, affecting other creatures surrounding you as well as allowing you to see your opponents spiritual energies, even if you can't necessarily "see" them yourself. As a bonus action, you may close your eyes to focus on and attune to the the auras within a limited area all around you using your acute senses and your ability to be aware of them. Gain Blindsight within a 15 foot radius. This improves by 2x as much at level 6 (30 ft.), and continues to increase 2x as much at 11th level (60 ft.), and 17th level (120 ft.). Additionally, you also gain proficiency in Perception checks. If you already have proficiency in them, gain double proficiency.
Aura Sphere/Shadow Sphere
By 6th level, you can manifest your aura into compressed balls of energy that can be thrown at your opponents. As an action, you spend 3 Ki point to manifest and throw a ball of energy at an enemy up to 60 feet away. Make a ranged attack roll using either your Wisdom or Dexterity modifier. On a hit, the enemy takes 2d10 + Wisdom modifier force or necrotic damage. The damage increases by 1d10 when you reach 9th level (3d10), 11th level (4d10), and 17th level (5d10). Additionally, a creature must make a Strength check against your spell save DC or be knocked prone or back 10 ft.
Charismatic Aura
At 6th level, your heightened senses now give you the ability to impose your aura onto others, allowing you to better persuade them to believe whatever you say. Whenever you make a Charisma (deception, intimidation, or persuasion) check, you have advantage on the check. Additionally, you may add your Wisdom modifier to those checks as well.
Aura Blast
At 11th level, you have gained the ability to draw minute amounts of energy from both you and the things around you. As an action, you spend 5 Ki points to create a gigantic ball of pure aura, and throw it at an area within 120 feet. An Aura Sphere is an energy sphere with a 20 foot radius. Creatures within this radius must make a Dexterity saving throw. They take 6d10 + your Wisdom modifier force damage on a failure, or half damage on a success. As a reaction, when the Aura Sphere is created, you and your allies may choose to sacrifice up to half your hit points. For each 2 hit points sacrificed, the damage of the Aura Sphere increases by 1. The damage for Aura Sphere increases at level 13 by 1d10 (7d10), and again at 15th level (8d10) and 17th level (9d10). At level 20, the damage increases to 10d10. You may use this ability once per long rest.
Inner Focus
By 11th level, your continuous training of both your spirit and mind has given you an unshakable inner peace and assurance. You are immune to being frightened by opponents and won't flinch in battle because of it, and have advantage against charm effects.
Aura of the Protector
At 17th level, your tireless devotion to the understanding and mastery of aura has given you the ability to manifest your aura into the material plane. You and all friendly creatures within 30 ft of your aura have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical sources. Also, the area within your aura is considered difficult terrain for your enemies. Your aura increases to 60 ft. at level 20, and you also gain resistance to all damage types but force damage from nonmagical sources. This lasts for 1 minute, and can be used up to your Wisdom modifier times per day, requiring a long rest after all uses are used.
