City and town

Cities are larger than towns. On the one hand, cities may sometimes merge with surrounding areas. On the other hand, towns don't generally expand into other areas in the same way as cities. Cities are more densely populated than towns and most of them are the seat of most of a region's istrative functions. Unlike the towns, they're generally well planned and have proper sanitation, drinking water, roads and other modern amenities.
