Asking for some advice on my next project. I want to do a piece on my Jacket, and I can’t decide between the images attached. I want to do the detailed figure but the whole pic would not fit on the coat unless I make it small and I’m worried that it’s too detailed for me. The mask was my second choice. Basically what I’m asking is: is it doable to do the figure or should I be safe and just do the mask.

Blow the images up,and prong them then see them in the jacket . I,like both but the first one might be harder .
I'd choose the second one! Seems more fitting for a night out and a bit easier to embroider if you ask me!
I can't decide, they're both sooooo awesome!!!!

Then I would do the less complicated pattern!
Especially if you're not going to wear it that often.

True. And I can always do the detailed one in a larger piece of fabric

ABSOLUTELY 🤗
The Hollow Mask would look awesome.
Yeah. I originally planned on it til I saw the other pic
I get by what you mean, not wanting to lose any of the details being the sun/moon & the shadow wolf, but personally I think a reverse version of the bleach mask would be awesome by embroidering the white parts as black & the black as empty space.
Do not consider yourself any less skilled for not doing a more detailed piece, as it's about what design best uses the space provided.
Believe in yourself & if it turns out to be to much work then take a short break before coming back to finish it off.
Thank you. That is an amazing response and I’m incredibly touched by your encouragement. I didn’t think of flipping the colours but now I’m definitely going to consider it cuz that sounds really cool

You are more than welcome.
I hope that you would be kind enough to keep us all updated with the progression of the design you choose, because either way, that jacket will look amazing!
