howdy sisters!

You may have seen the new #sadboihour committee. It is a committee solely based on creativity. Photo edits, writing, and video editing are the roles that make up the group.

Our first ever theme for this week is Coachella in honor of Coachella season, BITCHES! WOOOOO! :sparkling_heart: 🤪🥳 :tada:

day one; brown aesthetic edit

- When Emma posted her first day outfit, I also found an Instagram with a bunch of beautiful aesthetically pleasing photos that went perfectly with the pictures Emma had on her . (credit to at end of post)

day two; indie aesthetic edit

- Indie? I’m not sure what it’s called. I had gotten a collection of pictures from the same insta and hoped that the colors in Emma’s day 2 photos would somewhat match the other pictures I got. I pulled an all nighter just waiting for the post, so when I finally got it, I was celebrating her pants.

- At first, this had words on it. But then I didn’t like how it turned out and I just let it be a naked ol’ grid. (the words were “green is not a creative color” in case you were wondering)

- I created a grid consisting of 6 photos (all in color). Then, I layered a line overlay going across the edit vertically. I then made another grid with 4 photos (b&w), centered and tilted it. With Emma’s photos, I cropped them and created a triangular shape and placed them on top of the previous layers. I added the text, made it a lil less saturated, and faded it.

- This time, I made 4 grids in total. Two were the background, one was with Emma’s photos. The one with Emma was less saturated, faded, and had very little grain. I placed a star on top and had a very simple coachella label on it. I added the lines in the corners for a fun and fresh effect and also to liven up the edit a little bit more.

- I made this very simply. Same saturation, fading, and filters, then slapped them into a grid and added dust particles. Though it is simple, I’m proud of it.
