CASE #O1: ELEVEN: ARRESTED

A/N POV

“I don't believe this! Officer Lee really did this? Oh my God!”

Han's eyes almost pop as he scans his eyes through all the reports and realizes that Heeseung; the prime suspect has a high possibility of being the killer. The magistrate has already given the orders and a warrant has been issued.

“But Sir, wasn't Officer Lee our prime suspect, to begin with?”

Yoon-hye questions in a skeptical tone; confused as to why her superior was so surprised.

“Yes, Yoon-hye but I wasn't expecting it! Like, how do I say this? Officer Lee seems so honest and everything!”

“I get what you mean, Sir. Should we go and arrest him or...?”

Letting out a deep sigh, the senior lies against his chair more before speaking up.

“Yeah, do it. We have orders so...”

The female officer nods and leaves formally with a salute. And within half an hour, they reach the hotel and at the suite of the boys to mic loudly.

“Mr. Lee Heeseung, you're under arrest. You do not have to say anything. But it may harm your defense if you do not mention when questioned something that you later rely on in Court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence. Please, surrender yourself.”

“Are you fvcking kidding me right now?!”

Jay shouts as he peeks through his window after fixing his glasses. They woke up to this being shouted through a mic. First thing in the morning being an arrest warrant was not something nice to begin the day with and it was pretty clear because of how all the boys had woken up to this and were standing near the door, confused. Heeseung was too scared to even take a step outside. He clung onto Jake for ; trying his best to not burst into tears. Everyone in the room knew that Heeseung was not the culprit. It was someone else...

“Lee Heeseung, open the door!”

She shouts once more. Sunoo opens the door very annoyed and spits out his words to make his rage evident.

“Officer Jung, please, give us a moment.”

“Officer Kim, I'm not on leave. I have orders and duties to perform.”

“I don't think we're causing you any harm. Why don't you let Officer Lee get ready, at least?”

She decides to give them a moment but soon, realizes that time is ticking and she should arrest Heeseung as fast as possible for her own good. She takes the mic in her hand once again.

“Lee Heeseung, please, surrender yourself.”

“Hyung, you have to go... Or else things will get worse. We'll get you out of this, I promise!”

Jake assures as he makes the older one loosen his grip on him. The older looks at him with a scared look, unable to believe Jake's words.

“Please, hyung! Go!”

Scared and afraid like a little child, Heeseung finally makes his way out the door, pushing away Sunoo and heading towards the car. The juniors handcuff him and put him inside the car just like any other criminal...

“Hyung!”

Sunoo shouts and he's about to go up to him, Jay pulls him inside and shuts the door.

“We can't have him free until we prove that he's not guilty, Sunoo. They won't let him go.”

He says. Sunoo tries to protest but fails to come up with words.

“We need to discuss this... After breakfast, we discuss about this on our way to visit hyung and after visiting him, we go to his and Sunoo's place to discuss over everything in detail. Let's get ready now and leave ASAP.”

Jake says in a low tone as heads to his room to freshen up. He needs to clear his mind before he can jump into work. They were all baffled by how the police figured out who the criminal was within 2 days and without completing interrogations for many people. Something was off. It seemed as if this was a trap laid out for Heeseung...
