∶Hi Guys, it’s mill! And today I’m here with

∶this months monster theme, oh yes even

∶the art club has climbed on   board the

∶Halloween train! This theme isn’t just to

∶with the monster song or mv butt that is

∶how I took it so there :p however there is

∶the slight twist of it being a craft.  

∷

Exo monster themed sketchbook

∶| ɪɴɢʀᴇᴅɪᴇɴᴛs

∶gather many types of paper together; for this

∶sketchbook I knew I wanted it to be very per-

∶sonalised so I included all the types I knew I

∶would use (sketching, soft pastel, writing and

∶watercolour). These are all A4 and I then folded

∶them in half before grouping them, so there is

∶four papers all in the same clump (I’ll link a video

∶that actually explains stuff well rather than my

∶confusing writings) these   clumps   are called

   signatures

∷

∶next sew the pages using a kettle stitch, once

∶again I will link a video to explain the process-

∶after create a book press (I just piled a lot of

∶heavy books on top of it) and apply glue to the

∶spine and allow to dry

∷

∶time to create a text block! I used thicker card 2

∶pieces of A4 folded in half; and stamped them

∶with handmade exo and spooky themed stamps

∶this makes the pretty inside cover pages, to

∶attach them simply glue about a half an inch  

∶border along the spine and apply and weight

∶down the book once more- here I also added a

∶page marking ribbon

∷

∶now to make a cover- this was just cardboard

∶cut into the correct dimensions for a front, back

∶and spine, that I glued onto an old half finished

∶Kai painting... sorry Kai, also sorry to my dog

∶because he likes to lie on this painting...

∶i turned the canvas over so the painted side wasn’t

∶the one showing and left that to dry with many

∶books piled on top

∶finally I glued everything together and painted

∶on the cover of the sketch book, I hope you
