How are you everybody? My name is Corp and welcome to another blog of mine where today I am collaborating with two astonishing and talented of this community, Chelle and Mira. So in this blog for today all of us are going to explain about Zeref and Mavis through edits that is done by Mira, a fan art that is done by Chelle and finally a blog that Is made by me and I really do hope you enjoy!

Title explanation?

Blossoms of the fallen angel, I’m diving through details about one simple common thing that occurred between Mavis Vermillion and Zeref Dragneel with the curse of Ankhseram. Two of them showed a selfless personality which made me call it as a blossom here Anyways let’s get started.

The Curse of Ankhseram

It all started with Zeref Dragneel, the last remaining Dragneel in his whole family where he lost all of his family including his younger brother Natsu but to make sure Natsu’s body is alright and fresh, he kept it safe. He was fully determined as an older brother and as a genius master mind to try his best to save and revive his older brother through multiple and many ways. Eventually when he was a teenager and when he figures out a brilliant plan, everyone criticized him and told him that you are doing against god’s will. Among that he was filled with anger and agony and didn’t allow anyone to control him just to save who was dear for him and thus the curse has started...

The curse goes as follows, the more he cares, the more he spreads death around him. The only way he wanted people to survive was by selflessly removing his emotions around him and fell himself with being completely emotionless and filled with despair and agony. Nonetheless, he was able to revive his younger brother Natsu and the more he researches the more he knows about the large trouble he’s going to face, Acnologia...

He had one particular plan and it was the only way he could defeat someone as strong as the Black Dragon. He created the eclipse gate that would send the dragon slayers that were with him 400 years into the future. Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, Sting and Finally Rogue to approach and defeat the ultimate dragons of all times.

But Zeref didn’t enter the gate hoping he will die not to worsen his situation with the curse, he was wrong though from the fact it kept him immortal and didn’t age at all...

400 years later:

Mavis Vermillion known as the Fairy Tactician was with her close comrades to build their guild together and it was fairy tail. During the construction of the guild and as Mavis was roaming around, she have met the black wizard Zeref and she didn’t know he was the black wizard. They at first started talking to each other and zeref was bottling up all of his selfless and caring feelings that hard not to kill her and her surroundings. As the time moved on he finally decided to teach her one move in the cause of only of emergency and not to use it at all, he then itted he was the black wizard to her hoping she can leave him alone as he started to get the blossoming feelings to her but she didn’t and yet accepted him for being who he is.

A large demonic monster attacks the city of Fiore and the wizards can’t do anything but Mavis have eventually did one thing right and that is to use that one spell that Zeref have taught her and that resulted for Mavis to finally defeat that beast but under a small cost, she earned that curse as well. At first, it wasn’t obvious that she had that curse and that she told Zeref that nothing happened. When he approached Zeref he was quite in shock and told her what the hell have you done, he further explained that she got the curse as well and that the more she cares about everyone around her, the more effective the curse is. At first she didn’t believe him but as the time went on and Makarov’s mother was giving birth to Makarov, it was quite obvious that after the birth and from how much Mavis cared about the mother, she unfortunately died by the hands of the curse shocking everyone especially Mavis.

The only choice Mavis had is to run away from that pain that she had blaming herself to kill someone, to make things worse it killed her due to the fact not only of caring about her family Fairy Tail but also for her feelings development towards Zeref. He at the same time has also developed feelings for her and both of them fell in love to each other. 6 months have ed and Mavis was nowhere to be seen or found when the black wizard finally finds her while she was trying her best to kill herself by hunger but couldn’t thanks to the immortality she had from the curse. Zeref coincidentally approached her and have talked things about it with her telling her it is hopeless but she didn’t care and cared about it sincerely to the point that since it might take for eternity to do it then she is determined to do so with him and together. Zeref got really touched by her and their feelings for each other grew suddenly fast and stronger as both of them gave each other a kiss on their lips but... unfortunately Mavis wasn’t able to withstand the curse, resulting her to die and Zeref to be completely destroyed.

The war of Alvarez:

The battle of the Dragneel siblings have ended and at the same time Mavis approaches Natsu and Zeref, pointing to Natsu that it is her turn to deal with Zeref. Natsu leaves the whole battle of power and strength and ends up him being the winner thanks to his of his friends and the power of friendship. As Zeref have been laid on the floor completely, Mavis walks to him sits above him and tries her best to fill her fake hatred towards him. She cannot even lie to him due to the fact of her loving him sincerely and dearly and that she wishes that she could have ed him enough and been there for him.

A smile drives through Zeref’s mouth as he still had feelings for Mavis and that he wanted what’s best for both of them completely and that he knows another way of both of them removing that curse and dying peacefully when he finally shows his caring and selfless side back to her face and she does the same, showing both of their personalities completely. Their times of being themselves for once drives to become even closer to each other and finally kisses each other lips with a ionate desire when a huge ray of light engulfing both of them away from everybody’s life.

My opinion on their shipping:

Honestly, the development of love for both of the couple showed a really drastic change for both of them and I was really glad they were considered as a cannon relationship and had a kid even though I did not mention August at this blog at all. In this blog I wanted to point out one thing and it was how much love can still exist even during hard times, Zeref and Mavis had the most difficult time developing that relationship and love thanks to that curse but honestly they ddI whatever it takes to make sure their smiles are still there and that their love and are completely within their feelings even when bottling it up. It makes me think of how hard it is to find someone who is really patient and strong willed not physically but mentally to you from all varieties of genders. Their story is pretty well written and it may had some flaws but it was for sure an important message for all of us that always a blossom can always show within our corruption and that our hearts will always be filled and overwhelmed with happiness, joy, excitement and most importantly love and the bonding of a strong family
