( My first proper post ) — Greetings, fairies! This is Lucy this side! What do I have in plate today? Well, an informative blog. The blog is about 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱, that is, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗲.

In this blog, I am going to focus on them because they aren't talked about much. They aren't appreciated much either. In case you aren't familiar with them or are confused about them, this blog will help you out with atleast the basic information <3!!

੭ㅤ  𐅹ㅤ  𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐃𝐎𝐌 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐈𝐎𝐑𝐄ㅤ  ꒱

"In a land, far far away, lies the kingdom of Fiore. A small peaceful nation of 17 million and a place filled with magic."

— This was how we were introduced to Fiore in the beginning of the anime series. It is the kingdom which is under monarchy rule. Also, it is the kingdom where Magnolia is located, Fairy Tail's hometown.

It is known as the Flower Kingdom. Fiore's capital is Crocus. It's monetary unit is Jewels, which you should already be aware of as it's mentioned in the anime quite clearly.

੭ㅤ  𐅹ㅤ  𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘ㅤ  ꒱

The royal family has two —

𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗘. 𝗙𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗲 :: 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗻

𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗶 𝗘. 𝗙𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗲 :: 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴

𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 :

𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗘. 𝗙𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗲 » Toma E. Fiore is the former king of Fiore. He is a short old man with black eyes and white hair. He is seen wearing striped clothing with a belt on his waist and a cape completing the look.

𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗶 𝗘. 𝗙𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗲 » Hisui E. Fiore is the former princess of Fiore, the current Queen and the daughter of Toma E. Fiore. She is a young, beautiful woman with wavy green hair and green eyes.

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 :

𝗧𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗘. 𝗙𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗲 » He is a man who enjoys being entertained and is often seen being childish at times. He also has a tendency to end his phrases with the word "Kabo", derived from the word Kabocha, which means pumpkin in Japanese. He also loves and trusts his daughter very much.

𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗶 𝗘. 𝗙𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗲 » She is very sweet, kind and caring. She is also very intelligent and is devoted to her kingdom. She is strict when necessary and is a very responsible woman. But either how, she has a loveable personality.

𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 :

» Toma ed down the throne to Hisui in X793.

» Hisui was friends with Jude Heartfilia aka Lucy's biological father.

» "I will pull out my sword to protect this country." — Hisui.

» "Of course you fiend! No matter how she looks, she'll always be my daughter! Worry not Hisui... I shall return you to your original form, even if it kills me!" — Toma.

੭ㅤ  𐅹ㅤ  𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄ㅤ  ꒱

In the Grand Magic Games, there was this official mascot and referee known as Mato, which was a giant pumpkin head with big eyes and mouth. Later during this arc, Mato revealed himself to be the king aka Toma E. Fiore. He disguised himself as Mato to supervise the events directly.

Hisui first appears during the Grand Magic Games arc, as the princess. While the finals of the games were happening, she was seen talking about starting the Eclipse project with her guard.

੭ㅤ  𐅹ㅤ  𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐄 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐃ㅤ  ꒱

The King played a role in the movie, 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹 : 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝘆. He was the one who hired Natsu's team to bring back a stolen artifact from the foreign kingdom 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮. As he was the one who hired them, his role was considered important in the movie. However, he didn't have any major role in other arcs even though his appearance was there and he was mentioned a few times as well.

Hisui played a major role during the Eclipse Arc. She was the one who opened up the Eclipse gate. In the anime, she is seen talking about how they had conducted the Grand Magic Games for the past 7 years, to gather magic energy for the gate. Her intentions were to protect the kingdom from a future dragon apocalypse. However, that didn't happen and instead the dragons were unleashed from the gate. The Eclipse gate also had an after effect on the celestial spirit world which had an opposite reaction on the spirits. To bring back everything to normal, Hisui brings a new set of celestial keys, which she herself created, to close the spirits' gates.

Her role was major in this part of the anime. There wasn't much mentions of her after that, only some traces here and there. But no major roles were played by her after this.
